This place is DISGUSTING. I requested my money back so I could go stay elsewhere and was assured by the person at the desk that I would get it but IT WAS NEVER RETURNED. I called multiple times and was completely ghosted. No messages returned and certainly no money. It's a total scam. Nobody should be subjected to this. The room reeked of cigarettes and chemicals trying to mask the smell, the bathtub had dirt and bugs in it, the walls had holes in them (some with plain spackle hanging off), you could hear everything the other tenants were saying out in the parking lot. Was actually super excited to have my boudoir photoshoot here, booked over two months in advance, put my down payment for my photographer, and made a couple other reservations around this one. Less than one week before I get an email saying I cancelled my reservation. When I reached out they said they overbooked and closed rooms at the same time for renovations. When I went to see if I could just rebook it, the room I had originally reserved was actually still available (probably literally my cancelled reservation) but the price was jacked to $250 (originally $112 when I booked). Nice high end

Doesn't look like anything in the pics my room was filthy , there was shoe prints all over the hot tub like is was never cleaned After I had filled water into it there was dead insects ! , I had to go to the store to buy bleach and clean in my self it was so disgusting, there is no refunds and the male at the front is a joke he was so rude in everything that he said , save your money and don't go here , there's much better .

My experience at this establishment was horrible to say the least. When I got there and opened up the refrigerator there were baby roaches inside. Also there was no water pressure in the bathroom sink. The next morning I was hassled by a gentleman saying that he was security explaining to me that I was not supposed to be in the room that I was in and that I needed to go to the office and speak with the owner. Wow just wow, i don't write reviews but when i do it's either AMAZING or AWFUL. This one is the latter. The pictures you see on their site, google or yelp are so deceiving. I checked out a room went to grab food first then when i come back to actually open the room for the first time, I was in shock. It felt like i was in the hood. But not even the state i am from have i seen such a disgusting and over priced motel where i felt in danger.

Where do I start I would give this place 0 stars. The manager is a total B*+%#! And a scammer!! I booked online Friday night since their website stated they had a room available so I booked it to arrive at 3am. We get to the motel everything is closed. Can I mention the area is really ghetto! I call the number and she's super rude telling me it's 2am and has kids and hangs up. This place is a DUMP ! Stay away if you value your life. Upon checking in there were obvious prostitutes and drugies in the parking lot and coming out of rooms. Homeless people hanging out in front. The Motel next door had 4 cop cars in the lot , who knows what happen.
So entering the room was like entering a nightmare. Broken door, red liquid splashed on the back. Another door had a hole punched in it . The shower was covered in black rotten mold , disgusting. The floors were filthy . Everything was gross and dirty. The beds had hairs of all types . The sheets were black!!! What hotel/motel uses

Hello yelpers! I usually don't give reviews but i'd like to share my experience here
We arrived last Saturday for the elton john concert and did a lot of price shopping. Desert Moon Motel was $130 for the Vip Jungle Jacuzzi.
This was the best bang for our buck.
We met with anthony (manager) very polite and professional that made us the room key and went over our paperwork. Walking out a lady comes in with just her bra and very short shorts didn't think nothing of it... Outside there were a few people just loitering around digging in trashcans.
We finally got to our room and as soon

First off. The staff was very friendly.
This place was very disappointing. I did not feel safe.
Talked to the staff about the people outside. The staff told me is nothing to worry about its safe place. I saw what looked to be prostitution going on with pimps in the parking lot. Which I was talking to near my room.
My inner feeling was telling me to find a different hotel, Tried to get a refund, The staff told me "No refunds after 48 hours" So I forfeited what I paid for my room for safety. And when to a different hotel

The main reason why I'm giving three stars is because when we arrived to our room, the door was open, there was a strange and strong smell, and there were flies flying around in our room. Not a good first impression.
It was more disappointing because the pictures advertised through yelp and Expedia were of the nicer refurbished rooms like unit 11. Unfortunately, we got unit 21, one of the rooms that hasn't been remodeled yet, so we chose to cancel our reservation and go elsewhere.
I will say Dawn and the folks managing this place are very welcoming and kind. I can tell they put an

Seriously folks... this is the first time Yelpers have disappointed me. I had expected a LOT better from a 4.5 stars on Yelp. The pictures uploaded by the Owner make the place look so good. Here's the reality:

2. The Motel is tired and old-looking. See my pictures here of paint and baseboards peeling off the wall, plastic "greenery" decorating a wall-unit AC that we couldn't turn off and ended up just unplugging.

Day 2: I'm glad the owner is paying attention to his business. Thank you Jason for making this right. Dawn at the desk wasn't too happy that I didn't come to her first, but right after we were given the key, she was closed. Plus, she went to check the room before handing us the key, so apparently the room was up to par for her. The new room is beautiful. Clean, lots of towels, and a bottle of wine. Since today is my birthday, we will definitely be enjoying this tonight after dinner.
