We held out as long as we could hoping things would blow over, but there's still too many restrictions in place to put on the festival for 2020. We may try and throw a one-day, basic shindig another weekend in September, but are unable to lock anything down at this point. We regret to have to cancel the 8th annual Kentucky Kick Down, BUT we have big news coming for 2021!
There's no better way to spend a fall weekend with a bunch of moto-friendly enthusiasts. Louisville Turners is a historic 13-acre complex perched on the banks of the Ohio River. There's a vintage bike show, hot rod show, stunt show, live music, vendors, swap meet, food trucks, charity ride, camping, mud drags, burn out pit, swimming pool, and vintage bowling alley as well as the on-site lounge open until 2am.

It's been the motto of Louisville Vintage Motorworks since the inception. Same holds true for Kentucky Kick Down. We want to see whatever you have, so long as it has two wheels and is twenty-five years or older. From garage builds to meticulous restorations and choppers to race bikes or dual sports, scooters, cafes, whatever - bring it, we'll celebrate it!
New to KickDown for 2020, is Hot Rod Alley, a curated hot rod show focused on vehicles 1962 and earlier. Cars and trucks will be on display at Louisville Turners main corridor which stretches from the main parking area to the Lounge and bowling alley located riverside. You will need a general admission ticket for the show, which you can purchase in advance or day of show.
The charity ride in conjunction with the Kentucky Kick Down will raise proceeds for The Arrow Fund, a nonprofit that fights to rehabilitate animal victims of torture and abuse and to bring awareness to and eliminate animal cruelty. The ride will start Sunday at 10am at Cox's Park, adjacent to Louisville Turners.
Our vendors have the benefit of an all-inclusive three-day festival. Promote, sell, or just raise awareness for your brand. We are looking for like-minded vendors that appeal to our variety of attendees, and greatly value your part in making this a successful event. Come celebrate two-wheeled moto culture with us, on a personal level with your customers from all over the country.
The KickDown Swap Meet takes place Friday through Sunday in the shady grass field adjacent to the bike show and vendor area. Each 10x10 space offered at $100 with $100 refundable deposit to assure vendors do not pack up before the event is over. Additional space available upon request. Online registration is available below.
