Services
Living on the Outer Banks, Ten O Six founders Toby Gonzales, Will Sanders, and Mandy Sanders noticed that there was a void in their community when it came to the food. There simply weren't that many affordable, fast, high-quality options available - so vacationers were having to spend much of their time stuck in the kitchen rather than enjoying the beach and making the most out of their time off.
Since 2013, we've been serving breakfast and lunch out of our bodega-style Beach Road storefront in Kill Devil Hills at MP 8.8. Quick grab-and-go breakfast sandwiches and prepared meals for patrons that want easy, fresh meals for work or a beach day. Our full menu features local, seasonally available fare, delicious grab-and-go options, and more.
Prosciutto, kalamata lives, banana peppers, roasted red peppers, hash browns on a bed of spinach topped with 2 over easy eggs. Black Bean Corn Salsa, jalapenos, pico, hash browns over white toast topped with cheddar/jack cheese, 2 over easy eggs and a texas pete drizzle! Scrambled eggs, pico, hash browns, onions, green peppers, mushrooms all sauteed and topped with cheddar/jack cheese wrapped in a 12in flour tortilla.
Ten O Six has been a full-service catering company since 2013. We are a local family owned business committed to providing handcrafted food and exceptional service that's perfect for any palate or budget. We work flexibly with any price point, vision, or needs that you may have: we can plan an entire event, drop off freshly prepared meals, or send one of our skilled personal chefs to cook for your special special evening.
We know that your Outer Banks Wedding is a once-in-a-lifetime, irreplaceable experience, and we know that you want it to go off without a hitch. At Ten O Six catering, we want to do our part to make that happen. That's why we offer high-quality, full-service wedding catering that includes delectable food, exquisite presentation, superb service, and personalized attention to detail.

A hole in the wall place but a great find!! We had the crab cake platter and the beachcomber burrito with a small old bay fries! It was all delicious; the cake crab was full of crab and seasoned perfectly, the burrito had a good balance of eggs meat and veggie and the salsa was great, and the fries with old bay were crispy! Service was quick and professional. Would definitely recommend this place for a quick bite to eat!

So this is probably as much of a story as it is a review but let me start by saying I've got this thing. When I'm staying on the beach my favorite thing is to get up in the morning before everyone else, find a breakfast burrito and a latte and eat it on the beach and watch the tide come in before starting my day.
I've probably done this in just about every beach town from southern Virginia to Savannah Georgia over the last decade or so. My long time favorite was probably a place on the north end of Carolina Beach but I've got to say this is the new winner.
By far the best breakfast burrito on

Found this place the first day we were here and it is excellent ! My wife had a breakfast burrito the fist day and got it the second because it was so good. I had the Greek me out bowl the first day, then biscuits and gravy the second day. The biscuits are nice and fluffy and the sausage gravy is thick and sticks to your ribs. Toby the owner is very nice and knows his customers well.
Will definitely come back someday and stop here again!

This review is for breakfast only. Easy to order food online and there are great choices for breakfast. Delicious breakfast burritos which is what we had. Ordered online and order was ready when we got to the restaurant. There are a couple of tables outside the restaurant but really seating indoors. The burritos were hot and the ingredients were cooked nicely with the eggs not being overcooked and the other ingredients blending together for a tasty burrito. A little smaller than what I'm used to, but plenty for breakfast. We got our breakfast to go.

A great hole in the wall spot that you must stop by! The soft shell sandwich was incredible and full of flavor, and the heaping order of fries that you can order (at a great price) complete the meal perfectly! Service was great and the restaurant had a nice relaxing vibe to it that complements the food they serve. Good fair prices. Only a half mile away from public beach access made for a perfect lunch on the beach!

Stopped at this place for a quick bite to eat on our way out and have to say it was the best meal I had this vacation. I got the Traditional reuben- it was fantastic! My husband got the beach bum burrito and he said his was awesome too. Super laid back environment and Toby was super sweet. 10/10 recommended and will definitely be back next time. Thanks so much!

Has all of the qualities of a restaurant that's about to hit its stride and blow up in popularity. This was such a great find! Our group ordered the crab boil, crab cake/sandwich, and fried shrimp platter and all of it was perfectly cooked and seasoned quick seafood that satisfied everyone. The crab cakes alone are enough to make this a 5 star review. If thats your thing THESE are the crab cakes to try. 👌 the service was excellent, really sweet people all around, and we saw a lot of locals come in too. I hope they stick around and continue to grow! I'll definitely reccomended this place and

We stopped here after visiting the Wright Bros memorial looking for something super local. The gf had fish and chips, I got the shrimp. Unfortunately soft shell crab was not quite in season and covid messed up the 2020 supply. Both the fish and shrimp were fantastic. Super little hole in the wall place. Recommend stopping if you are in the area.

Unassuming takeout place but surprisingly more upscale quality.
French toast - made with baguette, not typical texas toast. Lots of cinnamon and right amount of powdered sugar, not mindlessly heaped on sugar-mud like a lot of joints.
Waffles - very light and fluffy with a crisp on the outside, soft on the inside. Delicious.
Biscuits and gravy - biscuit was moist and fluffy, not too heavy, not too dense, but still solid. Gravy was delicious, light bodied but not watery. The sausage used in the gravy was quality. Twas less spicy and lighter than typically dark Jimmy Dean's / Bob Evans /

Perfect for what we were looking for: a local joint - not a McD's or Sbux - to pop in and out of on a Saturday morning that had quick, simple breakfast fare like breakfast sandwiches, eggs and bacon / sausage with great Yelp ratings and positive reviews. And - oh yes - not break-the-bank prices.
We knew that with it being a Saturday morning in the midst of rental check-out time, any inside dining place we chose would likely be crowded - with covid and wanting to social distance appropriately, we didn't want that.
So looking through Yelp, we zeroed in on Ten O Six. Pics showed it

This is a tough one.. the food was pretty good for the most part. We took it to go and ate at our beach house. Most of the pancakes were good but there was a charred pancake hidden under the rest of them - there is no way they didn't know it was burnt when they served it! The rest of the food was fine. When we picked everything up, it was slammed busy with one person up front trying to help customers on the register, answering phones, and making drinks - maybe they had an employee call out? The overall cleanliness was startling. It was dirty - not just busy/cluttered but it was yucky like

Young lady at the register was nice however the food took REALLY long to come out. Not sure what the deal was but 3 people that placed their orders after us got their food before us.
Now on to the food. I ordered the deluxe breakfast sandwich (bacon, egg, cheese, sausage) and hash browns (it's really just red potatoes). My sandwich was really good but the potatoes were disgusting and had absolutely no flavor. My husband ordered the classic egg sandwich and a waffle. I tried the waffle and that was also good.
Not sure if I would go back but if I did I would order the same thing again except

I was in the Outer Banks for a wedding, staying at a family friend's, so not in the usual vacation mode, but wanted breakfast on a Saturday morning. I noticed Ten O Six on Yelp and then realized they are right across from the place I've gone to family vacation every year since before I was a year old, so I'm surprised I'd never stumbled in before!
Anyways, this place uses a no frills, order at the register system. You can take food to go or there are some picnic table and benches out front where you can eat. We chose the latter option. They bring your food out to you if you
