We didn't want to deal with funeral homes or be convinced that we needed something we didn't, but we also wanted to be assured that my father's remains were respectfully taken care of. Finding an online service with local roots was exactly what we were hoping for, and we found that with Brock and PA Simple Cremation. They drove an hour to our location, late on a Sunday night, at no additional cost. They were respectful, and allowed us the time we needed. I didn't have to worry about an itemized invoice or whether each line item was an absolute necessity. The only issue we encountered was getting

Great guys. When I called funeral homes in State College, they were curt and rude... disappointing considering this line of business. Brock was always respectful and patient, and gave me his personal phone number in case I had any issues. Mr. Beardsley Sr. and Jr. showed up in the middle of the night in suits to collect my deceased loved one. And they don't take advantage of you by gouging, making finances one less thing to worry about.

Truly, dealing with the death of a loved one is one of the most difficult and overwhelming life experiences. Having had little past involvement with making this type of arrangement, I was initially a little hesitant to trust an funeral home, unknow to me, that I had found online. However, after my first call to a local funeral home, that also offers cremation services, was answered by a very rude answering service, I decided to contact PA Simple Cremations instead. I'm so glad I did, our needs were simple and straight forward, and I found everything spelled out plainly and concisely on their web
