Since the doors opened in 1927, Lynch-Green has been an independently owned and operated funeral home with a rich heritage and deep ties to the community. Our location at the corner of North Michael and Maurus Streets remains a staple in our community, with a history of serving families with dignity and for compassion for more than 90 years.
Ruth was a lifelong resident of St. Marys, growing up in the "German House" with. Together they shared many years of love, laughter, and happiness. Ron was a veteran of the U.S. Army, serving during the Vietnam War and was honorably awarded a Purple Heart medal. She was formerly married to the late Albert Kirkland.
Born and raised in St. Marys, Michelle (Cooney) Krise graduated from Elk County Christian High School in 2001 and then attended the Pittsburgh Institute of Mortuary Science. She is a licensed funeral director and embalmer who has been licensed since 2004. She also holds an active Pennsylvania insurance license, which allows her to assist families who wish to purchase insurance for their final arrangements.

The basic Military Funeral Honors ceremony consists of the folding and presentation of the United States flag to the veterans' family, firing of the 3 round volley, and the playing of Taps. The ceremony is performed by our local funeral honors details consisting volunteer veterans from the area. Your funeral director will make all of the arrangements for the military honors.
