Sara is helpful, talented and a good listener. My first visit, we talked through my hair concerns and expectations for my daily styling. She took her time helping me figure out a good fit for me. Happy with my new cut and style.

I had to wait a long while due to covid and county restrictions which is totally understandable as a new client. I finally got to see Sara for a bleach color correction and new cut. She was on time, clear about covid rules and expectations. There was easy parking, a clean and safe/distant salon environment & Sara is attentive w/emails and correspondence leading up to the appointment. I love my hair! Sara is professional, knowlegeable and great at listening to what the client wants. I also love that she carries R and Co.+ Haircare products (great quality)

Being new to the area, I was referred to Sara by a relative. I was concerned about finding the right stylist who was an expert at color. I needed to be able to blend my increasingly gray hair with shades of blond. Sara spent a good deal of time conversing with me about my desired look. She was able to create a color palette that included my gray hair with highlights and lowlights. Additionally, she cut my hair in a style that framed my face and added height at the crown. The color plan ultimately required less touch ups and less maintenance which was really great for me. I have received many compliments

I saw Sara this week and I couldn't be happier with the service and the results. I booked a service with her months ago that we needed to cancel due to the covid shut downs, but kept in touch and purchased some R+Co product during this time (everything smells sooo good). I was so excited they were able to open up this week and Sara was so communicative and clear about how the appointment should go. After being in quarantine for months she brought me back to life with an incredible color and cut. I feel like a new woman. I whole heartedly recommend Sara for all your hair needs. Started following Sara on her IG during Covid for tips, tricks & techniques for the DIY , low maintenence hair gurus like myself. When I'm able to be braver in venturing out for non essentials such as pampering sessions, I will definetly reach out to Sara for her unique, innovative & creative transformations.

Sara is the best! This was my first haircut with her, and the first since quarantine (yikes!). She started the appointment with a temperature check before leading me to her super cute, super clean private studio, masks on the whole time. She spent time with me up front asking about my hair - likes/dislikes/maintenance - and providing suggestions. Not only is Sara talented, she's also really fun to hang with! I left with some great new blow drying tips and feeling like a brand new person.

Sara really knows hair and she’ll help you find a look that fits your face shape/bone structure, daily routine, and level of maintenance you’re willing to commit to. Then she goes further to teach you how to recreate the look at home based on your level of maintenance/routine.
I would highly recommend Sara to anyone in the greater Bay Area.

Coming into Sara's studio I had a couple of things that were stressing me out , 1) curly hair, and 2) half a head with different hair lenghts due to previous shaving. Sara took the time to consult with me about my worries, she gave me honest opinions about some styling ideas, and took the time to evaluate what my hair was doing naturally (this is huge! for all you curly gals out there). I felt at ease immediately to see how confident she was and honest about expectations.

I’m vvvvv picky about my hair cuts and Sara hit the nail on the head with mine! I have a lot of hair and I prefer a shaggier look but nothing too drastic. She gave me just what I asked for!

I found Sara online after having my hair butchered by a previous stylist. My hair was a nice short bob. I asked for a trim and the previous stylist cut my whole style whole style off...including my bangs! I was devastated. I set up an appointment with Sara after seeing she had wonderful reviews. I personally messaged her letting her know my hair crisis. I sent pictures of what it was and what it was at the moment. She was very sweet and said she has helped many women with short hair get to a style they adore.

She is also constantly learning new styling skills and techniques so you have the very best and latest info.

After leaving San Francisco I've had a heck of a time finding a stylist who gets me and my hair. I'm not a girl that wants to look cookie cutter or basic, I want to highlight what nature gave me and Sara knows just how to do that!

I've been seeing Sara for a year or so now and she's quickly become an important part of how I view myself. She helps me see my potential in my look and also my life. Putting my hair in her deft hands has been one of the best decisions I've made, and honestly such a relief to have a skilled artist on my team.

I've never understood why

Sara has been cutting and color my hair since 2012. I first saw Sara 2 weeks before my wedding as a new client. I was more than impressed- she listened, talked me through her ideas, and the finished product was exactly what I was looking for. With Sara, I have felt comfortable trying different styles/lengths and types of highlighting. I am consistently amazed at her skills, dedication to staying on top of the best cutting and coloring techniques, and her attention to the client. I've recommended her to everyone from my co-workers to my mother-in-law. She's the best!

I recently moved to Benicia and did a bunch of research to find a new hair stylist for my short hair. I'm so happy I found Sara! She has cut my hair a few times now and each time I've been really happy with the result. She takes care to figure out what I want and seem to genuinely care that I like my hair! I also love that I can book my appointments with Sara online and I get text reminders. I also like the hair products she uses and sells because they make my hair smell really nice!

Sarah was super friendly upbeat professional and gave me the exact hair cut I asked for and even took initiative to help my bangs out from a little balding spot it looked like on her own. I highly recommend - she is the quality of a San Francisco Hair stylist here in Benicia that I have been searching for for over 10 years.
