We also specialize in custom drilling and hand mounting of rimless eyewear such as Silhouette, Mykita, and Cartier. This allows us to maintain a higher standard of quality than most other optical labs.

After accidentally breaking my glasses on the MLK long holiday weekend, I was in a panic to get them replaced. Several other opticians were closed but someone at Desert Vision answered the phone even before their posted opening hours and invited me to come in. Gerico helpfully attempted to find replacement frames which would fit my existing lenses to save some money, but when that proved impossible he lead me through their wonderful selection of frames, with a very honest appraisal of those which suited me best without rushing a decision. They managed to get my glasses remade quickly. Thank you

En route from NJ to CA, I almost lost my glasses - my foot found them when they unknowingly fell out of my pocket! Well better broken than lost :-)
After trying several local opticians and leaving messages without getting a call back, I reached out to Desert Vision and was well received by David who invited me to come in. Within 10 minutes my broken pair was fixed and my back up pair had the missing nose piece replaced - all for just $15!
Desert Vision is now in my phone contacts if I ever need anything.

I'm new to Palm Springs, so when I dropped and stepped on my glasses and a lens popped out I wasn't sure where to go. I started reading reviews on Yelp and decided to see if Desert Vision could help. When I walked in early on Friday morning I was met with a warm welcome. The tech whisked my glasses away and came back 10 minutes later with them fixed! When I asked about the price she said 'no charge' even though I had not originally purchased my glasses there. You can bet I will be back to buy my next glasses there!

Once again I'm thoroughly pleased with the top-notch, safe service I'm given when I walk in to get fitted for frames by Gail. Even though I live in Oakland, part of my vacation in Palm Springs must include a trip to get my prescription frames at this awesome, stylish vision center. I'm so grateful! I get the best service. Dr Esquibel is excellent. He has state of the art diagnostic tools. He is thorough, patient and generously shares his knowledge and gives excellent advice. I am a long time client there and I fared very well following his recommendations. I love the website too. It provides resources and education. My glasses last a long time. I never had quality glasses like that. They are excellent and fashionable. The Covid precautions are strictly followed and they provide hand sanitizer and masks if needed. The staff is very friendly and professional. I am very happy with my optometrist

Rolled over on my glasses in bed and both arms broke off. I've done this before and it's usually a lost cause. While the arms couldn't be re-attached, the technician was incredibly creative and directed me to some close out frames. For $45, he was able to resurrect these glasses which I needed to preserve as the lenses were almost brand new. Kudos to Sergio and Desert Vision Optometry for a great solution and excellent service.

Well let me start off by saying Merry Christmas. I say that because I had my lenses done at Desert Vision Optometry about 4 months ago and I have to tell you I was VERY pleased with the work. The state of the art equipment they use is top notch and the staff if Wonderful with a capital W! Now this review is due to an incident that occurred December 12 where my limited edition Cazal frames were badly bent. Anyone having Grandchildren know that they like to grab at any and everything including glasses The frame was bent so bad that I attempted to straighten them but stopped realizing I might break

I've been going to this optometrist for years. He's wonderful and has helped me on many occasions with all sorts of eye drama from contacts that slid up into my eyelid to a torn cornea. His staff is fantastic. They are friendly, highly professional, and all of them go the extra mile to make sure I'm a happy customer. I highly recommend Desert Vision and Dr. Esquibel. Dr. Esquibel is also active in the community and generous with his time, which is even more reason to support him in his locally-owned business.

I bought two pairs of glasses from Desert Vision. A pair of sun glasses, and a pair of clear no line bifocals
The sunglasses fit fine, the other pair not so much.
I was constantly adjusting them and they just were not comfortable, however I loved the glasses
And so.... after seven try's to adjust them to my head they suggested a replacement pair, which they replaced at no charge
I felt as though I had picked out the frames and I certainly wasn't expecting them to to eat the cost for the replacement pair, but they did

Very disappointing! Went in for an eye exam and to get some glasses. Prescription came back blurry and the reps there have an excuse for everything. Found the same pair of glasses online for $100 and at their location $400. It's like a morgue in there and parking is horrific. Absolute worst experience!

As a former employee who worked with an Optometrist for over 2 years, I was ecstatic with the service I received on 11.29.18. I had a thorough eye exam and the optician brought out at least 15-20 pairs of frames to try on and we went through each one. This is what a "real" optician should do. Ensure the frames are a good fit for your face. I Highly recommend and thank you Desert Vision Optometry for your great service :)

I waited 2 months for an appointment as it kept getting rescheduled. Only the day before my appointment they let me know they did not accept my insurance coverage....grrrrr The person I called ignored the fact that this was a problem and kept stating "company Policy" Not helpful at all and had attitude that I did not appreciate. If you want to deal with a helpful, friendly staff, pick another facility.
