Dottie our Office manager has been in the optometric field for over 30 years serving the Hi-Desert. Dottie is an enthusiastic and innovative professional with extensive experience in the optometric field she will tell you that, "It's being able to see our patients and their families' year after year and knowing they trust us as their Eye Care Professionals".
We are dedicated to providing the highest level of service so you can have the vision you deserve. We truly believe in routine eye examinations so that you can see as clearly as possible. Once you have to get glasses or contacts, it is even more important to watch the health of your eyes. You also need routine checks to ensure your prescription has not changed.
Many people are very confused when it comes to choosing the correct glasses. It can be hard to tell what looks best on your face, while also staying within your budget (and insurance). You also want to be comfortable in the glasses that you choose. We also have frames for other purposes. We offer sunglasses for those who are outside a lot and need some protection from the sun.
New patients keep our business growing, so we are always proud to offer high quality optometry services to our patients. We understand that your first visit to the eye doctor can feel overwhelming and we try to accommodate all new patients with a comfortable and organized facility. Our goal is to cover everything you need with a full and efficient assessment, but without waiting to see the doctor.
If you have insurance, please let us know when you are scheduling your appointment. If possible, give us the information so that we will know exactly what your insurance covers before you come into our office. When it is time for your appointment, we will go over your benefits. If you need eyeglasses or contact lenses, we will be able to discuss what your insurance will pay and what you are required to pay.

Somewhat welcoming place that has paperwork available online before you go. Great doctor, very knowledgeable and made me feel safe and comfortable getting an eye exam during Covid. Nice collection of frames, such as Prada, Versace and more, but limited; they could use a bigger selection. I normally go to Pearl Vision, and always have in 4 states I have lived in, and usually go to the one in OC. But not wanting to go to OC during Covid, I looked up this Clarion place online, as someone who took my VSP vision. There are a lot of staff working here, which surprised me, as most eye examination places

This office is great. Even running behind they still saw me. My optometrist, Dr. Schwalb, was friendly and helpful. My technician, Aline, was super helpful and endlessly patient while i tried on what seemed like all the frames in the office and asked a bunch of questions. Checking out with Katie was friendly and helpful, she even helped me test out the new care credit pay my provider feature. I definitely recommend this office!

Great staff! Great help! Made it to my appointment a few minutes early and was let right in. They took my temperature and asked me to have a seat. They fixed my glasses in no time and did a fantastic job! Wish I knew the young ladies name so I could give her credit for her great work here but sadly I don't! Great work, great customer service! I got something in my eye on the evening July 6 and spent a very painful night. I called first thing in the morning on the 7 and the office got me right in...the doctor removed the stuff from my eye with great professionalism.
Although the professionalism was nice, what was really important was the compassion with which the office showed. It reminds me of when Dr. Pedersen had the office had the office.

Friendly staff, nice facility. They treated me well, but the glasses they made for me don't do much good. I find myself instead gravitating to my generic reading glasses for close up needs-they provide a better field than the Rx, and while the distance correction is better than nothing, but not by much. I mentioned this to the staff, they said my eyes needed to adjust to the Rx. After a months trial, no improvement, now they sit in a drawer. They were a poor investment for me. Hopefully others will do better.

Friendly, helpful, thorough, progressional and really good at what they do is the Clarion Group. I have had the wrong contact Prescription for years and didn’t know it; until they were able improved my vision with a lesser but correct strength and prescription for me. My eye sight is one of my most important health care items. Trusting those that take of my vision health is something I do with the Clarion Group.

I've been seeing Dr Lowman since I was a child, and always loved eye exam time! Nothing beats the better machine, and nothing beats having a Dr take the time to give you a good exam and explain what is being tested and the meaning of trends, which is something the ever-patient Dr Lowman is always thorough in doing. In fact, though he doesn't take my insurance and though I live 100 miles away in LA now, Dr Lowman is still the only eye doctor I see. I once called him during the day from work when I suddenly couldn't see - well I could see but I couldn't read. It was very frightening
