Ciao Bella Skincare opened its doors in March of 2011 when Newburyport local, Karen Damon, decided that after years of experience in the field of esthetics, it was time to create her own relaxing spa retreat for her clients. Karen graduated from Catherine Hinds Institute of Esthetics. Prior to receiving her education, she worked in the Medical Spa industry where she discovered her love of skin.
She was trained by Laser Nurse Consultants working closely with nurses and providing laser skincare treatments. As owner of Ciao Bella Skincare, Karen prides herself on being the "empress of the epidermis". She loves to work with her clients to help transform their skin to become more youthful and healthy.

Having a facial from Karen Damon at Ciao Bella Skincare is truly a privilege. Karen is a perfect mix of professional and friendly. She pampers and relaxes you at the same time. While really focusing on making your face look great! The products she sells are high quality and affordable but rest assured - she never pushes them on you and there is no expectation to buy anything.

I've been going to Ciao Bella Skincare for years. I particularly love the Dermasweep for my (tired, old) aging skin and get regular eyebrow waxes and eyelash tints. The Karen is the best and her staff is always warm and welcoming. Such a convenient location with plenty of parking too. Highly recommend!

I have been buying PCA and having my lash and skincare treatments done at Ciao Bella for several years. Karen and Susan have helped to not only reverse so much of my sun damage and age spot but have also helped me with daily care. My skin looks better now at 60 than I did at 30. Be very cautious if you purchase product from this marketer. We purchased a "free trial" of the Avonlea Anti-Aging Serum and the Versilla Anti Aging Eye Cream and paid shipping and handling for these items. Results were stated to be seen within 14 days, (The free trial was supposed to show results and did nothing!). On the 14th day we were billed for an additional $89.62 which a product that we did not want. A call to their office effectively gave us no relief on the added payment. Be careful and read the fine print.

I wanted Lashes for my wedding but loved them so much I kept them up. Susan is The absolute BEST Esthetician I've ever been to. I used to drive from Portsmouth, New Hampshire to see Susan but moved to Texas last May. I kept going back to her for about a month until I tried some places close to me in Texas. I've been to three Estheticians for Brow fills and it's NOT even close to Susan's job. From the moment you walk in Ciao Bella you have a relaxing feeling. I was heading to an important event; one where I would be working from 5am to midnight with not a lot of time to fuss with any of the above. I decided one way to minimize my 'prep' time was to try lash extensions and Susan was recommended to me.
I will never go back to my 'real' eyelashes.
