We have been at the forefront of energy-efficient lighting for more than thirty years. We constantly evaluate developments in the industry, looking for the best efficiency-worthy lighting products. In earlier years we helped introduce the world to then-brand-new compact fluorescent lamps. Later, we pioneered electronic ballasts and low-wattage exit signs.

We carry over 200 different Energy Star rated bulbs, in a variety of shapes, color temperatures, and base types. CFL bulbs are still the workhorse of residential retrofit, and still use 1/4 to 1/3 the wattage of even the best incandescent. CFLs have improved over the years in efficacy and size. The T2 tube size today offers even smaller models.
CFL Fixtures are still the best technology option in indoor residential area fixtures. We carry CFL fixtures in all types of styles and finishes. Virtually any style fixture in incandescent can be found in CFL. Give us a call and we will find you some options that will work with your style aesthetic.
LED fixtures are now the preferred technology for most outdoor lighting. Unlike older "blobby" light sources, LED light can be directed much more precisely. Over-lighting, glare, and light pollution can be vastly reduced, yielding enormous energy savings. Common-area stairwells and corridors are typically lit 24/7 and cannot be turned off completely because of code, even though they are usually occupied less than 5% of the time.
A low ballast factor "super T8" ballast is perfect for a retrofit conversion for T12 to T8 since it is tuned to provide the same amount of light as the T12 with few watts. Instead of replace-with-same in your current fixture, "super T8" ballast with high ballast factor produces the same light output as standard ballasts using 7% less energy.
