Blue Springs Internal Medicine (BSIM) is part of the St. Mary's Medical Group (SMMG) network of physician practices. The SMMG practices are owned and operated by St. Mary's Medical Center in Blue Springs, MO. Your BSIM care team, consisting of your primary care physician/nurse practitioner and their clinical staff of nurses/medical assistants, serves you by addressing and managing your health care concerns.
According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), more than 100 million American adults have diabetes or pre-diabetes. Blue Springs Internal Medicine is fortunate to have a Board-Certified Advanced Diabetes Manager on staff who can assist diabetic patients with getting their blood sugars under control, resulting in a better quality of life.
To schedule an appointment, please call 816-228-9841, option 1. Same-day and next-day appointments are available. Please remember to show 15-minutes prior to your appointment with a complete list of your current medications, your photo ID and insurance cards, and PCP copay. After routine office hours, you can reach an on-call provider from the practice, by calling 816-228-9841.
We accept most major insurance and managed care plans offered locally and handle billing whenever possible. Please feel free to call our appointment desk with any questions you may have. Blue Springs Internal Medicine strives to provide positive oversight and clear direction for our patients.

Front desk staff was very loud and unprofessional, speaking unnecessarily about patients after getting off the phone; more gossip and discussion was going on opposed to working. I felt very uncomfortable sitting because they were talking so loud, specifically Michelle. I don’t usually leave reviews but as we speak she is talking about people’s weight. So so inappropriate and extremely unprofessional.

The front desk staff was very rude and not informative. It’s the holidays and Michelle seemed like she woke up on the wrong side of the bed stated that I needed to make an appointment for a lab order. Went to another representative of the hospital and they stated that was inaccurate, lab orders do not require an appointment. Just a very bad experience please watch out for front desk staff. The doctors are great though.

One horrible doctor. He accused me of faking my abdominal pain so I went to get a second opinion from KU Emergency department. Come to find out I have a staff infection where I have a mesh implant. I hope you all know I could have gotten really sick and could have wound up in the hospital for a few weeks if it would have spread throughout my body.
How can a Doctor be so careless?
They take an oath to help people. Heal the sick!
I would never ever go back there and I will be reporting him to the state.
I suggest you look for another Doctor let alone Hospital!

I called to make an appointment and the woman who answered the phone was plain rude. I explained my husband's family have been going there for years and i could see any doctor as i am new in the area and i only need a prescription renenwal, and was told they dont have doctors who do that. A rude person and doctors who don't write prescriptions doesn't add up to much of a medical practice in my mind
