Dr. McCormick is board certified in Family Medicine and has practiced in the Blue Springs MO area for nearly thirty (30) years. She loves family medicine and treating all ages. Dr. McCormick earned her Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine in Kirksville, Missouri.
Routine physical examinations ensure that you stay in good health. Your provider will discuss routine health maintenance care, and may order lab work as well for comprehensive care. Breast and pelvic exams with Pap smears are available for women. Prostate exams are available for men. We provide routine vaccinations for persons of all ages, from newborns to senior citizens.
We do everything in our power to ensure we have urgent slots available for patients who have acute, urgent health concerns. This includes, fevers, chest congestion, diarrhea, etc. We ask that you see your primary care provider for your annual wellness visits and maintenance visits as they are the ones most familiar with your plan of care.

I had no issues with my physician (PA) or the staff until my last visit. With the results of my labs having some concerns, the doctor never got back to me on next steps or any changes in my meds. A few months after this visit I moved out of state and it was absolutely frustrating trying to get my records sent to my new physician. I called, emailed, faxed forms, etc. to no avail (5 requests!). I even asked for the phone number of who they use to release/send the records and was told that they don't know who sends them ...that there is just a fax number they send a request to. We love the NP Beth Gatrost. She's warm, friendly and knowledgeable. Our other doctor's office closed and we were so upset to lose them but my goodness we feel blessed they referred us to this office. Everyone has been wonderful...nurses, office team, etc. Thank you for the great care and 5 Stars are well deserved!
