A huge branch fell off a big tree in my yard and destroyed my roof riser. To avoid this happening again, I contacted a few tree companies. Juan, the owner, had the best quotes and unlike the other companies, he gave the best & honest advice. Either chop the tree down entirely or since the tree is still healthy, have large branches removed and tree balanced, which also maintains healthy climate & energy in my home. I chose the latter. These guys are amazing and do fantastic work. I had a 100+ ft high Elm removed from a very hard to get to spot in the corner of the yard and they did an incredible job. We have had them out for some emergencies and tree trimming before, but they really had their work cut out for them on this one and it could not have gone any smoother.....

We contacted Juan after someone referred us. He was able to get us set up within a week or two and sent Jose out on a Saturday morning. Jose was very patient with us and took time to explain the options we had to trim/cut our large tree that was starting to hit our roof. We were new so had a lot of questions and he was very helpful. In the end, our tree looked great and he took his time to clean up and make final updates at our request. He also ensured we didn't just rush and do the most aggressive cutting. We highly recommend Juan and Jose for trimming needs specifically on large trees

Progressive has a very professional, responsive, competent, and thorough team that removed 2 very large trees at our home in West Ridge. Diego communicated readily about all aspects of the work and was just great to work with. And the price of the completed work was fair and competitive with other proposals we received. We would certainly use them again and would recommend them to others very comfortably.

Juan came out to inspect a sick tree. He was courteous and professional, gave information about how to treat our sick tree. Unfortunately, he was not able to provide services, but solid advice. In the future, I will be calling Progressive Tree Service for our future tree needs. Two thumbs up!

Great price for heavy lifting, hard workers, professionals. So glad to have found their service. Diago is the lead for the team and does amazing job in leading projects, communications, getting permits, and to supervising the project on the day of work.

Not only was Progressive Tree Service the most responsive company I contacted, their pricing, professionalism, and skill were amazing. They are capable and brave, besides being tremendously skilled. They removed an old locust tree that must have been six stories high. Everyone, from the office staff to those who worked on our job was great. I could not be happier and will definitely call Progressive for any work of this type in the future. Highly recommended. PS) their pricing is quite fair.

These guys are true professionals. I had a damaged tree coming out of the ground that was leaning toward my house. They were able to get me on the schedule for the following day. When they arrived to remove the tree the foreman (Eloy) noticed that another tree nearby had split at the base and was in danger of falling on our house. They were able to remove both trees by the end of the day. They are clearly a highly skilled and efficient crew. I would recommend them to anyone requiring this kind of service.

Best prices in town. Family owned and great customer service. I've had many quotes and I loved how Juan was no nonsense straight to the point and amazing work. Juan and his men did everything they agreed to take out and more. My neighbor did not believe us when we said progressive tree service will remove the tree entirely, stump, roots and all with the quoted price. Will recommend this company to all. Very happy!

I was about to contract with another tree removal company when I learned about Progressive. Turns out they are a family business with both the front office and work crews consisting of brothers, sisters and cousins. Wanting to support individuals over large companies, I researched them and when everything looked good hired them to remove a 75 yr. old Honey Locust that stood over 40 feet tall. I am incredibly happy I did. They are honest and professional and truly care about their work and reputation.

"I think that I shall never see, a poem lovely as a tree" is what Joyce Kilmer wrote in her poem Trees. I don't disagree, but what Kilmer leaves out is how expensive it is to own trees. We learned early on to budget for annual tree maintenance.
In the past we've used The Care of Trees and overall were quite happy until last year when getting a quote and getting on the schedule was a major headache. Progressive came last week and we could not be any more satisfied with their work. We went for bid to trim two trees in our yard and of the five companies, they were not the low bid but their price was very competitive. The actual trimming, cleanup and overall service were too notch. I will recommend Progressive to anyone looking for tree service. This is a family run and operated business, so you know you are dealing with the owners who actually care about their service and reputation, and it shows. Top notch.

Updating my review: Diego called me and apologized for the mess/damage they caused. He was extremely apologetic and explained that they had every intention of cleaning up the deck before they left but in the midst of everything going on (there was a moving crew here for a tenant in the building) it got forgotten. He sounded sincere and offered to pick up new plants for me. I was reimbursed by my neighbor. Again, he was extremely apologetic and appreciated the phone call/offer. They have given me a head's up on their next work day so I can be prepared which was much appreciated. I am bumping

My experience went like this: I emailed for a quote on pruning, got an email back asking when they could come look at the tree. We set up a day/time to meet.
The day/time came and Juan was there on time to look at the tree. He was very nice and it's clear he actually cares about the trees and not just selling his service.
He sent an estimate soon after-- maybe the same day-- I missed it because it went into my spam folder. He called to confirm I got the email and offered to resend it if I didn't see it.

Initially I hired another company to trim my trees. When the other company started trimming they immediately got down from the tree and recommended me to remove it because it was "dead". I decided to get a second opinion and contacted progressive tree service. A few days latter I met with Juan and found out there was nothing wrong with my tree and all it needed was some pruning.
