As Managing Partner of Tiesenga Reinsma & DeBoer LLP, Edward N. Tiesenga works with the firm's team of attorneys concentrating on corporate formation, transactions, and litigation. Mr. Tiesenga understands how businesses operate locally, regionally, and throughout the world and he appreciates the economic value and social benefits generated by healthy businesses.
He received his B.A. from Wheaton College, in Wheaton, Illinois (2000) and his J.D. from Harvard Law School in Cambridge, Massachusetts (2003), where he was an editor of the Harvard Human Rights Journal. He is licensed to practice in the State of Illinois.
Mr. Reinsma has been in private practice since 2003, including two years as an Associate with the Chicago office of Sidley, Austin, Brown & Wood, LLP, handling patent and intellectual property litigation in federal court.Prior to joining Sidley, he clerked with the Chicago office of the U.S. Department of Justice, Antitrust Division.

Carlie Leoni joined Tiesenga Reinsma & DeBoer LLP in 2019 and concentrates on corporate law, commercial litigation, and commercial real estate transactions. She holds a B.A. and B.S. from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign (2015) and a J.D. from Chicago-Kent College of Law in Chicago, Illinois (2019).
