Chiropractic care: This involves gentle manipulation of the spine, joints and extremities in order to restore and maintain full function after overuse from daily life, injury or illness.
Having been referred by my former chiropractor, I was pleased to learn personally of the dedication to the profession here. I find Dr. Susan not only to be excellent as my doctor, but also thoughtful, enthusiastic and generous of spirit. She is a kind professional soul. I always will be grateful for association.

I had been in and out of physical therapy for a couple of years due to recurring back issues. I wasn't getting any lasting relief, but was hesitant to try chiropractic, because of painful adjustments in the past. Dr Susan is is wonderful! I was referred to diablo chiropractic by a friend who highly recommended her. I have been seeing her for about a year. She is extremely knowledgeable, helpful , without being pushy. Adjustments are also very gentle. I see her every 2 to 3 weeks. My husband says, "she's really changed your life!" I really couldn't recommend her more highly

I was generally skeptical of chiropractic treatment but went to see Dr. Salem out of desperation based on a colleague's enthusiastic referral. I travel a lot and work in a non-ergonomic environment. I had been experiencing chronic back pain for several months and reached a point where my right arm had started going intermittently numb. I was honestly afraid I was going to have to find another line of work. However, after Dr. Salem's treatment, my symptoms were resolved.

Seven years later, I still fly every week and am attached to a laptop 24/7, but have maintained a schedule of preventative

Wonderful, caring experience all the way around with Dr. Salem and her professional staff. I was referred to Dr. Salem while my regular chiropractor was away - and I can't say enough about the superior level of treatment, welcoming atmosphere, and friendly, professional staff. In addition to the adjustments by Dr. Salem, I just had a massage with Jennifer - she was terrific. Please go see Diablo Chiropractic - it has been the most pampered I have felt in a long time.

Susan Salem, D.C. is a phenomenal chiropractor. She is extremely ethical and professional.

I know some people get skirmish when you mention chiropractic care and they envision someone who "cracks" your back and tells you to come in three times a week for 6 weeks. Dr. Susan is not that quack.

I had success in the past with chiropractic care after a couple different injuries. In March 2011 I suffered a T-9 compression fracture at the hands of my son doing his best impersonation of Jimmy "The Super-Fly" Snukka off the couch and onto my back. The problem was that I had previously
