Old Town Campground N Retreat
Old Town Campground, under new management, is conveniently located on South East 349 Highway, just 2 miles from Route 19/98 at the stop light in Old Town, Florida. Our natural tree landscaping creates a country-feel haven where you'll hear the cry of the owl, see state-protected tortoises/turtles, numerous colorful birds and hear the quiet, serene music of nature.

We are a 55+ campground where you'll meet overnighters, campers that stay a week, month, snow birds and permanent residents who are out walking their dogs (pets), saying "Hi y'all" to about everyone they meet along the way as they circle the campground on the paved road to their campsite.

We always stop here on the way to South Florida. We look forward to the stop as it is so quiet and peaceful. The people are friendly and welcoming. Each year the owner has done improvements and the price is reasonable. Easy drive off Hy 98. I would highly recommend!

Great place to just relax and enjoy the peace and quite. Lots of trees to provide shade. They have a dog park. Friendly staff and the residents are friendly also. They are doing lots of updates and making sure whatever lot you choose it's ready with level grounds and easy in and out. Overall it's a great campground.

Nice oldstyle campground with modern upgrades. Staff and friendly and knowledge. Sites are spacious and full hooks are modern and work perfect. Some road noise during day but nothing obnoxious. Nights and overnight barely noticeable. Restful sleeps. Stayed 3 days.

Thoroughly enjoy stopping @ Old Town Campground, every year, traveling north in spring or south to Venice Florida for the winter. Always spend 2 nites each way.
Campground is clean, quiet, lots of shade trees, good water, many sites have full hookups. With Pass Port America membership, Rates are very reasonable.

Very small one road Campground. No pool, shuffle board, ect. Lots are good size. Out in the country and quite. For $396.00 a month they have full hook up, cable and good internet. There are laundry facilities and descent showers. We are staying here for a month while we get our property nearby ready. Might not be everyone's cup of tea but if you are in the area and want a quiet laid back place to relax this is the spot.

Rob is the owner and he was very welcoming at check-in. He gave us a list of local places of interest and also escorted us to our site. Unfortunately there were some fire ants at our water/electric post, so Rob took care of the situation immediately. Our full hookup site was spacious and level. Campground has private bathrooms/showers which were clean and awesome. The free wifi worked great and there are also 20 free cable channels but we didn't try them. There is a fantastic paved bike path about 2 miles away. Rob also kindly let us borrow a ladder during our stay. Thank you sir for the excellent

We got here in October 2017 and loved it so much, we've settled here and are now permanent residents. Rob, the owner, is friendly and there for anyone when there's a problem. He is constantly making improvements to the campgrounds and has plans for even more. Everyone is super friendly and we're a community and everyone helps everyone if there is a need. What I like is they've started monthly events - celebrating birthdays each month for all the birthday people that month and themed potluck dinners once a month plus a weekly Sip n' Stitch where all that are crafty get together and chat getting
