Welcome to the homemade website of John M. Talmadge, M.D. I am a specialist in psychiatry and addiction medicine, and I've been teaching and practicing psychiatry in Texas since 1976. I am a native Texan, a graduate of Dartmouth College and the Duke University School of Medicine. I also completed my psychiatry residency at Duke.
I've been here in North Texas since 1990, and I have a modest solo private practice in The Nurses Quarters Old Parkland, an elegant office park at the corner of Oak Lawn and Maple in Dallas. Currently I am not keeping office hours because of the pandemic, but I am doing some work via Zoom and telepsychiatry.

This “Dr” makes his diagnosis never having met a patient. No examination, no conversation, nothing. He’s a quack. The irony here is that he’ll comment on posts like mine to tell you I don’t know him/he doesn’t know me so my comment is invalid. Lolololol........ The irony! Besides, who wants a Dr that uses a photo of himself with a back ground that looks like a scene from hoarders. Get help “Dr”
