Renal Physicians
More people are at risk and don't know it. If you have diabetes, high blood pressure or family history of kidney disease, you may be at risk of developing kidney disease. Speak with your doctor about testing for kidney disease if you have any of the listed conditions. Renal Physicians, Inc. is the oldest and largest nephrology group practice in the Dayton area.

We are proud to have been the first to bring dialysis to Dayton. This innovative spirit, unmatched knowledge, experience, and passion for treating kidney disease, still drives our practice today. All our nephrologists are board certified in nephrology, and we have an experienced, transplant fellowship trained physician on staff.
Services
Please be sure to provide our office with your current health insurance information. We will file your charges with your health insurance company. Please make sure that the physician in our group that you are seeing is on your health insurance plan prior to your visit. All office copays must be paid at the time of your visit or a $10.00 processing fee will be added to your account.
The kidneys act as the body's filtering system and remove waste materials that collect in the blood. Sometimes, however, things go wrong and the kidneys may not function normally. This is usually detected by a simple urine or blood test. Usually, there are no symptoms until the very late stages. Those with diabetes and hypertension should especially be concerned about their kidney functions.
With chronic kidney disease, the kidneys don't usually fail all at once. Instead, kidney disease often progresses slowly over a period of years. This is good news because if CKD is caught early, medicines and lifestyle changes may help slow its progress and keep you feeling your best for as long as possible.
Nephrologists only see patients who are referred by their physician. Before an appointment can be scheduled, a Renal Physicians referral form must be completed by your referring physician. New patients should plan to arrive 15 minutes prior to their appointment. Please bring all your current medications in their containers from the pharmacy with you on the day of your visit.
