Peck Chiropractic
At Peck Chiropractic Sports and Family Wellness we believe we can help relieve pain in the back, neck, arms, legs and ease headaches from various causes, including accidents, sports injuries and muscle strains. Hands-on spinal manipulation and other alternative treatments, can properly align the body's musculoskeletal structure, particularly the spine enabling the body to heal itself without surgery or medication.

Manipulation is used to restore mobility to joints restricted by tissue injury caused by a traumatic event, such as falling, or repetitive stress, such as sitting without proper back support. Chiropractic care is primarily used as a pain relief alternative for muscles, joints, bones, and connective tissue, such as cartilage, ligaments, and tendons.
Services
I was hit by a bus in 1978. I was 26. Immediately following, I lost the ability to grip a pencil, open a door knob or lift my arms. I had a severe migraine and lost the sight in my right eye. Traditional doctors at Kaiser gave me heavy pain medication and recommended invasive surgery. I went on disability and my future looked bleak.
There are several types of alternative medicines for people who do not want to take pharmaceutical drugs. Chiropractic care deals with treating disorders of the musculoskeletal system with an emphasis on the spine. If you have been diagnosed with one of these conditions or deal with back, neck, or shoulder pain on a regular basis, you might benefit from this particular alternative medicine.
Back pain is one of the leading causes of disability around the world, and it is also one of the most frequently cited reasons for seeing a doctor and for being absent from school or work. Patients with back pain could notice shooting pain that radiates down their legs, and pain may worsen with lifting, bending, or walking.
Walking is a great form of exercise for people of all ages! It is low impact and can provide extensive health and longevity benefits. In So Cal we have the benefit of great weather and lots of amazing outdoor spaces-many right in our own neighborhoods. Walking is second nature to us, yet we sometimes forget how to walk properly.
For many students and people in the workplace, sitting at a desk and often working on a computer for long stretches of time is the norm. The negative effects of prolonged sitting have been reported in numerous recent health studies. Sitting at a desk for 6-8 hours per day can result in increased instances of back and neck pain due to poor posture.

Best Chiropractor - Dr. Mike Peck! Extremely thorough and technical. I've been seeing Dr. Peck for years. I'm feeling great and back to normal every time I'm adjusted. He makes it simple and easy to make an appointment or just walk in! Office is in Downtown Ventura and super convenient location.

I have migraines and headaches constantly and was coming weekly for a bit and with time I now only come once a month this is all thanks to dr peck!! I now hardly ever have headaches and I feel soo much better.. most of the time you can walk in and get seen if not you only wait a few minutes which really doesn't matter because I would wait!!

Today was my first appointment at Dr. Peck's office. I was in a car accident recently and was referred by a friend who's parents have been going to see Dr. Peck for years. Peck is easy to talk to & explains the process of what he's going to do/what he's doing as he goes along with ease. I felt very comfortable and the first adjustment definitely relieved the pressure that I walked in with.

Side notes: Peck has been practicing Chiro for 20 years. Cost of a visit/adjustment is $59. Parking can be tricky- it's now paid parking up Ash, park at the library up above Main
