Scott Lazarov started his dance career while attending college in Michigan. He completed his training in Arthur Murray Dance Studio and soon after, started his career as a professional dancer. Since then, as both a teacher and a pro, Scott has earned finalist placement in every major competition, including the World Salsa and Mambo Championships.
A four-time US and World Pro-Am Champion, Lazarov was also named champion of the US Salsa, US Rising Star, and Grand National competitions. Scott has appeared on the cover of the Philadelphia magazine, performed at the Academy of Music, and was featured on the PBS programs such as, American Ballroom Challenge.

We offer PRIVATE & GROUP DANCE LESSONS for singles and couples of all ages and abilities! Whether you want to learn to dance, develop a hobby, improve your dance skills, or prepare for your wedding, we have it all here at Dance Sport Academy! We teach fundamentals of American and International styles of dances such as, Salsa, Cha Cha, Tango, Waltz, Foxtrot, Swing, Hustle, Bachata, Foxtrot and more all while advancing technique and styling.
Group dance lessons provide a great opportunity to learn how to dance in a fun, stress-free, and flexible atmosphere. Use our easy and secure scheduler to find our current class schedule. Our schedule frequently changes and we add new classes periodically (every 4-5 weeks). We offer lessons for children, teenagers, and adults.
Our Main Line dance studio teaches all different dance styles of Ballroom and Latin and offer dance classes for kids, as well as, adult ones. You can learn rhythms of Salsa dance, Rumba, Merengue, Mambo, Bolero, Samba, Cha-Cha, Jive, East Coast Swing and West Coast Swing; Club dances like Hustle and Argentine Tango and many others!
Great place and fantastic atmosphere. These people are not only exceptional instructors but also great people to interact with. I really enjoy my time at the studio and I am especially impressed by teaching professionalism and friendliness. I've been going to Dance Sport Academy for several years. The instructors are great & because of them I've been able to improve my dancing!

Dancesport is a fantastic school! The studio is beautiful itself! I have learned so much from Scott, Ricky, Teresa. I love Aideen's performance class and the fact that I can perform what I learned during parties and showcases. I have met a lot of amazing people as the atmosphere at the studio is very friendly and welcoming. I also love Thursday nights at Xolo restaurant where Dancesport hosts Latin nights. They offer a free salsa lessons and live music. It is great to relax and dance with other dance lovers and Dancesport instructors who are always there to dance with you and show you some new

I've been going to Dance Sport Academy for several years. The instructors are great & because of them I've been able to improve my dancing! Thanks to their instruction, I have been able to compete in 3 competitions now! I can't put into words how much fun I have when I'm dancing & Dance Sport Academy helped me find my passion! Excellent boutique dance studio! The teachers are extremely experienced and knowledgeable, and you are given lots of specialized, personalized attention to suit your dance learning needs. Everyone is very welcoming and friendly, and the office end is very efficient. The physical space is warm and charming, and they host great seasonal parties as well as a very fun weekly latin night party at a local venue. My dancing has improved a lot since taking lessons there. I highly recommend it!

Excellent experience! Aideen spent 8 lessons with us perfecting our first dance for our wedding. We weren't going the traditional route and Aideen helped us create a salsa dance styled like a rumba to completely impress and wow our guests. We had so much fun every lesson with her!
