There is always something surprising and delicious when you visit West Hanover Winery Inc. North American grape varietal, a dark pink grape, when produced into a pink wine will go well with any food group. North American grape varietal, pink in color with a spicy taste up front, but when swallowed tastes like a grapefruit.
French-American hybrid is a rich dark red grape that produces a dry red wine that tastes of olives up front and cinnamon on the finish. High in acid and a little harsh, not blended. A medium sized red grape that is produced into a dry, oak aged wine. It tastes of pepper in the front of your mouth and a little of pepper and cinnamon in the back of the mouth.
A North American variety of grape plant that is the first cousin to the Concord grape plant. Taste is a little richer and fuller body when produced into a wine. The Oak Aged King of the North will go well with steaks, different cheeses, sweet or sharp or just to be drunk by itself. A blend of all ten red wines that are produced at the winery, Sweet, Semi-Sweet, Dry Oak Aged, very complex.
Marinate the prime rib in Sangiovese wine for 24 hours. The next morning, obtain an old charcoal briquette grill and put a piece of tin foil under the grate to collect the juices from the steak. If you prefer, you can save those juices to use on mashed potatoes or make a dark gravy with flour, milk, and a touch of sugar.

Me and boyfriend order Groupon tickets to this place and scheduled to go at 4pm, but due to timing issues we wanted to reschedule and called 20 TIMES with no answer. We went early in hopes to see the man in charge in person to see if we can get in early, but once we got there no one was there. After entering the establishment, yelling out hello and knocking on doors, and waiting half an hour, we left. After calling once again after our set appointment he finally picked up the phone, and lied saying that he was there the entire time and his phone was working. Our group was 4 people, he was never

This was not a good experience. Everything tasted old and as if it was “bad”. One member of our group compared it to vinegar. . Paid for 6 tastings and the older gentleman only gave me 3. Everything tasted horrible- our entire group literally said it was one of the worst wine experiences any of them ever had. Plus- it is literally in a basement of a home. You literally walk through their basement until u even get to their tasting room. Shady place . Truly- save your time and $ and visit some other winery in the area.

So I had a 4 PM appointment for a party of 4, but I came an hour earlier , and there was nobody to service us. We walked in past the wine barrels , saw all the footprints that guide to the entrance of where you can sit and order and nobody was there either. We even said hello 2 times and nobody answered. Plus before coming I called 14 times & call went straight to busy & I called throughout an entire hour and nothing got through. I just called now at 4:24 and the owner said he was there the whole time & that his phone was working all afternoon. I am just upset on why he is lying & there was no

Visited this establishment on October 29th, 2020. This is a more of a retail establishment in the basement of a residence and not a true winery with vineyards on site. That being said George the Proprietor is 79 years old and is the no nonsense grandfatherly type that everyone should have. It is obvious he loves his family and his country without a doubt. My wife and I loved meeting George and had a wonderful time here Time flew by and were there for about 2.5 hours. He has a wide selection of wines to choose from everything from dry to sweet and his prices are very reasonable. Of the wines he

The owner is a very nice older man who admitted he doesn’t drink anymore. I asked him how long his wines sit out opened as he had a wall full of open wines. He assured me never more than a week, but even a week is too long. We prefer dry red wines but every one we tasted had turned to vinegar. There was one semi dry Riesling that was actually quite good so we purchased a bottle of that and a port my husband liked. His other wines may be good, we just couldn’t drink them.

I visited the Harrisburg location with my family this past weekend. The wines that were served were OLD. The bottles that were available for sale were OLD. A 2003 Sauvignon Blanc??? Brown whites and cloudy reds. I would avoid a tasting or a purchase. At minimum, do yourself a favor and check the dates and the color of the wine that you are being served. Also check the vintage on the bottles before making a purchase.
