Kog Hill Winery
No reservations required! Our wine tasting options offer you a flight of 4 generous pours of wines of your choice, or a tasting of 6 varieties for $8 accompanied by a dish of the day. Spend quality time with friends in our quaint indoor and outdoor seating areas enjoying flights, or wine by the glass or bottle!

At KOG Hill Winery, we believe in TLC. Being a smaller winery affords us the opportunity to love and care for each small batch of wine to our heart's content. Never adding artificial colors or flavors, but instead appreciating the beauty of the fruit itself is a major part of our wine making process.

What would you trade for a lifetime of wisdom? For young Christos a curiosity and the gift of youth would help build his foundation of wisdom. In the small Greek village of Katouna, young Christos was tasked with helping an elderly neighbor in winemaking and was soon enamored by the artistry and chemistry involved.

This was my favorite spot on the berks county wine trail. I loved the atmosphere. It was walking into a different time. Very cozy and inviting. The woman who I believe runs the place made us feel very comfortable. For me it's all about atmosphere. The great wine was just the cherry on top.

Cute winery. I was driving by and was so curious I had to stop in. Very low key almost a hole in the wall like place. But the wine was good. The Strawberry Lemon Sangria was my favorite. Very cozy with big comfortable conches. Friendly service. People were constantly coming in and out.

I drove over an hour to sample wines and buy several bottles for wine tasting at a party the next day. I called ahead and emailed and was reassured they would be open. here I am in their parking lot, doors are locked and no one is answering their phone or email during their open hours. I hope everyone is alright. very disappointed.

We have been here twice. Once while on the berms county wine tour. We enjoyed the wine. We enjoyed the bar tender. He was very friendly and we got it off right away. I was really hoping for a local winery my family and I could come hangout at like the wineries in south jersey where we used to live. Unfortunately you feel like you are in your grandmothers family room/kitchen. It needs a facelift. They tried to make an outdoor seating here but it's still not inviting and there isn't any fencing or anything to block the streets that surround it. Kind of disappointing.

I love that there is a winery SO close to us! The wines are good and the tastings are super reasonable. I wish there was more of an ambiance. Some fire pits, nice lighting, fencing to hide the High way, farmhouse style inside (for some ideas). We would hang out here more often. They were really open and nice about our children coming with us and offered them crayons and paper. That was SO nice! The man behind the bar is really fun to talk to. We have enjoyed our conversations with him. He is so nice and informative.

This place is a small , quaint , winery. It's not going to impress you on scenery or decor but the staff , their wines, and hospitality far exceed whatever you feel may be lacking in appearance. We spent almost 2 hours at Kog Hill because the staff there is so friendly and inviting . All the fruit wines are made from local farms and orchards. For $5 you can sample 10 wines- a very affordable and inexpensive price . My girlfriends and I have been to many other local wineries and we continue to come back to KH due to their hospitality, friendliness, and overall great experience. A place I will

Four of us stopped by to taste and buy some wines. One of my friends said their wine was really good.
There were only about 8-10 people tasting wines but the two folks behind the counter never even said hello to us even though we made eye contact.
After waiting 10 minutes we just left. That’s a shame. Again we wanted to taste and buy some wine.

Wine is cheap but the winery smells terrible. Not as advertised. Liquor store with cheap tastings. The guy in the store was very creepy. Had to leave and go elsewhere.

Drove all the way there and they were closed for a private event. I did my research before and there was nothing on their site that said they would be closed on a Saturday.

Very cute small winery. Me personally its not ur typical winery.bit small no cheese platter or anything. But the price is really cheap and its the wine is decent. I would definitely go back. I did buy some bottles but it had their old outdated labels. Wish i would have gotten a newer label that he was showing us.

We were driving by when we noticed this place on the side of the road and decided we had to check it out! The chickens and goats are what drew our eyes to this spot. We had a wonderful time, the bartender was super friendly, knowledgeable and hospitable and the family of owners were really nice. The wines were all delicious and it's only $5 for a tasting! Our favorite part was probably watching the chickens, roosters, goats and lambs out back. If I had one recommendation it would be to add another seating area to the other side so you can sit and watch all the animals out back! We'll

Strange, hot little shed that you do your tasting in but the wines were good. Also odd that you pay for your tasting before you even have it. Had to pay twice since we ended up buying 4 bottles. The wines were great and we were surprised at the selection. This place needs to work on presentation however. Staff member didn't know much about the wines or vineyard and spilled the dump pitcher in front of my wife and I all over the bar. Rap music was playing in the background as well. At one point we asked which of the wines had won awards and he couldn't name one of their 20+ awards. Bummed

On of the best wineries I have ever been to. The winemaker personally had us sample the wines cause the bar was full. Bought 3 bottles!!!

Loved this little place.

$5 lets you try all of their wines, and lots of unique stuff. Maybe not for your traditional wine drinker, but man they have some really great wine. I went with my gf on kinda last minute, and we both agreed that it was overall one of the best tastings we have done. Will definitely be back and would recommend to anyone!

Great spot to relax at. After a terrible experience at another breakfast place (Claire's) my friends and I stopped in for breakfast at the Windmill Family Restaurant (an unbelievable restaurant just across the street from Kog Hill). We spotted this little winery when we walked in and said we HAVE to go there. After a fantastic breakfast we walked over to find out that $5 would allow you to taste as many of their 27 wines as you'd like and you get a complimentary take home Kog Hill glass. We were psyched. After tasting to our hearts content, we decided YOLO, as the kids say, and split

I'm a big wine lover and Kog Hill still remains my favorite winery! They have a wide variety of wines so whatever your taste is, you will find something on the list. Personally, I prefer semi-sweet to sweet wines, but even the dry wines are phenomenal! I love to travel and try a new winery everywhere I vacation and I've still had nothing even close to the quality of Kog Hill's Riesling, which is my usual wine of choice. The tasting is $5.00 for anything on the list and you keep the glass afterward! All the wine is very reasonably priced. The staff are all very friendly and knowledgeable about their

Strangest little wine shop ever. You get to try as many wines as you wish for $5- keep the glass. Great little detour along the PA turnpike, but probably wouldn't stop again. Staff was VERY friendly, though tasting room and shop are a bit old and sketchy!
