Ayre Counseling is open and continues to serve individuals and families in need to Substance Use Disorder, Mental Health or Co-Occurring Disorder Treatment. All of our services have moved to virtual platforms to ensure safety for patients and staff. Clinical sessions and Groups are currently active and new patients are being accepted into the practice.
Psychiatric and MAT services are available and prescriptions are being emailed/faxed to pharmacies. Our virtual platforms include Skype, FaceTime or Zoom. Individual sessions can occur on those platforms or by telephone. At Ayre Counseling, our staff take a flexible, adaptive approach. Services
Ayre Counseling employs a Board Certified psychiatrist who is a specialist in addiction psychiatry as well as mood disorders (depression; mania), anxiety disorders (panic attacks; obsessive-compulsive disorder; PTSD) and arousal disorders (insomnia; fatigue; and Adult ADHD), with a special interest in the interplay of mental health disorders and substance use disorders.
Christine Michlik is a MA, LPC, LCADC focusing on individual therapy with a specialization in substance abuse, mental health, forensics, and the impact of addiction on the individual and family. Christine is an interactive, solution-focused therapist. She is a strong supporter of 12 Step recovery programs among other evidenced-based recovery practices.
Concierge Services: Our concierge service will assist you in making an informed decision when your emotions are high and you may feel pressured to make a placement decision literally within hours. We will provide the expertise and reassurance necessary to help you make the best-informed decision possible.
Our office is located in a professional office building in Morristown with many different businesses. We maintain a very high level of discrete, private care affording patients the comfort and confidence to address whatever issue brings them to our practice. The type and frequency of your counseling will be recommended to you at the conclusion of the first, diagnostic session.
