Owner and Solar Electrician, Simon was one of Vermont's first certified solar electricians and is a true solar expert. Simon is the lead designer and electrician of the team, and his expertise will be behind every project we take on, whether it is a small residential or a large commercial system.
He was born and raised in Westminster West, Vermont, where he discovered his ability and love for electrical work in high school while working with a neighbor who was transforming his traditional sugaring operation into a modern maple syrup production.Simon graduated from Marlboro College with honors with a Bachelor of Science.

At our heart, Southern Vermont Solar is a licensed, full-service, turnkey commercial installer that has designed, permitted and constructed over 20 commercial PV arrays around Southern Vermont, including several 3 phase systems as large as 685kW. Having my solar panels and double Tesla PowerWall installed by Southern Vermont Solar has been a very positive experience. There were few delays as they kept to installation dates scheduled. Simon and his installation crew were very knowledgeable and efficient and the work was of excellent quality. Simon is very willing and able to explain all aspects of the system and how it works. The PowerWall installation went smoothly and the operation fully explained. Victoria is an excellent communicator and all emails and inquiries were quickly answered. She also gave full support and help in filling out

Simon is VERY knowledgeable and professional. He was the only solar "guy" who didn't try to oversell us on a system that was larger than we needed. His crew was also very professional &, courteous. They all did an awesome job. Simon & Victoria were also great in follow-up after completion of the job. We are 100% pleased with all aspects of our experience with Southern Vt. Solar.
