Magpies Newsstand Cafe

We have a selection of over 800 magazines and the largest greeting card collection throughout the Four Corners! Stop in for a fresh smoothie or a grab-and-go sandwich! Magpies Newsstand was re-established in 2020 and is one of Durango's longest-standing businesses as it sits across from the Historic Strater Hotel.

Stop in and browse through our dedicated magazine room, pick up the daily paper, shop for a unique gift, or grab a fresh smoothie! Our espresso bar is always serving up creative lattes that pair well with our in-house made gelato! We have a newly remodeled space and a wide selection of sundries, sodas, snacks, candy, and fresh-baked goodies!
