Charmingly cozy and delicious place for breakfast. Came with my big family (6 adults and 3 kids) but they were very accommodating. Solid portions. Fun and tasty menu items. They made sure my coffee cup was never empty. Even made happy faces on the pancakes for the kiddos. It may have a small dining area but this place has a giant heart.

One of the best breakfasts in Durango!! Not a huge place so you may have to wait a bit...and definitely worth it!! Great variety on menu and great service. Try them out, you won't be disappointed

This is a fairly popular and small eatery. It is advised to fill out the online wait-list form. When I got there, they had me scan a QR code that brought up the wait-list form on my mobile device. The wait took only about 10 minutes before I was texted that a table was available. The menu is also accessed by QR code or by going to their website. I had the eggs Benedict with breakfast potatoes. My food arrived at the table in about 5 minutes and it was really good! The prices are very reasonable and the food is wonderful. Their hours are 7:30 am - 1:00 pm and they only serve breakfast.
I highly

The staff is absolutely rude. I will not recommend. It was 15 degrees and they laughed about telling old man you can sit outside since you said first available. Asked for more sugar. They said yea no. Very rude.

This place is GREAT!
My husband got tamales and eggs - and no I had never heard of this together and he said it was one of the best dishes he had ever had!

I had gluten-free pancakes and they almost floated off my plate. They were just GREAT!

Great coffee, excellent service! Friendly atmosphere. If the scale for service was 1 to 10 - they were a 12!!! Watched staff and they were very careful to clean fully and carefully between customers. Very conscientious.

Really outstanding food, LARGE servings, good prices, great atmosphere, staff acted like they were happy to be there and did

This place was awesome. They were busy on a Saturday morning, but I called ahead and a very friendly guy told me I could put my name on the waitlist via their Google listing. Got a party of seven seated right as we showed up and the service was prompt and friendly.

Only quibble is that they initially forgot to mention that they were only doing menus on phones, but we pulled it up no problem. The server gave lots of good recommendations.

We ordered a variety and everyone's food was great. The Southwest Benedict and the tamales with red and green salsa were particularly awesome.

If I could leave zero stars I would. Stopped by on our way back come to Arizona wait time was over an hour to begin with which we were fine with , we requested an outside table when our name was called she had an inside table ready we had our dog so really needed an outside table. She said she would put us up next for outside sitting we waiting another hour an still haven't been called then went to go see what was taking so long she didn't add us to the list again and they sat another party who had arrived after us. After over two hours of waiting another guest who saw the whole encounter

Nowhere is worth a 2hr wait and a message if don't waste your time waiting from staff. The online QR sign in was nice. Got the call when it was time for lunch. No thanks on my end.

There was no table available when my friend and I got there, so we were put on their waitlist, but I think we only waited about 10 minutes, so it wasn't bad. The staff is welcoming and friendly. They kept checking on us. I got the biscuit and gravy, and it also came with scrambled eggs. The biscuit wasn't dry, and the sausage gravy tasted as it was made in-house. The gravy was rich and very flavorful. Overall, I was pleased with my breakfast.

Such a great dive breakfast joint! Love it! Great coffee, staff is friendly, and food great. For the vegan, I had a veggie/potato bowl with curry sauce! Amazing!! Can't wait to go back! Just have patience to wait 15-30 minutes if you hit a busy time.

Fantastic breakfast. We ordered 3 plates for the 2 of us because everything sounded great and we were hungry. All 3 plates were delicious. There was a little bit of a wait, but they have a waitlist online you can join and then walk around town. I highly recommend this restaurant.

Very small restaurant with very long wait. The food was mediocre at best. They don’t have disposable straws only the metal reusable which were dirty. The scrambled eggs weren’t cooked all the way. The pancakes were decent. The sausage were like rubber that came out of a box.

NOTE: College Drive Cafe is rude!! AVOID!! We went there first and I dropped my lady off at the front door in a cold rain to check in and I circled the block looking for parking. She was told she had to wear a mask and could not wait for a table on the porch and had to wait in the parking lot in the rain!! Was told she could go back to her car and they would call. Didn't give a time estimate. So rude. Go to CJ's diner one block east instead. Family run since 1999. Cheap. Delicious. Friendly.

Local, SMALL cafe, waited 15 mins or so. I had the chicken fried steak, sausage gravy is heavily seasoned but I still ate it. The gravy wasn't horrible just not used to the flavor. The home made potatoes were excellent though. I ordered the fruit face pancake for my son and he almost ate the whole thing. This was my 1st time eating here even though I've lived in the surrounding area my whole life.

I'll start with a tip: Call Ahead. Our wait time, when given to us by the host staff, was underestimated - 55 minutes instead of the 35-45 estimated. The best way to get around that is to call ahead before going and not counting on the tables to be turned too quickly. Otherwise:

Our order: Anasazi Benedict with coffee, biscuits & gravy with water.

The result: the Anasazi Benedict was hearty and is a clever recipe. Combining their well-seasoned hollandaise and the rich egg yolk with the bitterly spicy & smoky green chile produces a delicious bite. The home fries were tender and balanced

I was really excited to try this place because I read reviews that stated that their eggs Benedict was fantastic. I LOVE eggs benny and order it anytime it's available. This time I wasn't disappointed but I wasn't wowed either. The eggs Benedict isn't the best I've ever had but it was decent. I still enjoyed my meal and the side of bacon was really good and flavorful! It was decent food for a great price. For a family of 3 our total was around $31. Overall, pleasant experience at a great price.

Very friendly inviting staff and a warm inviting, clearly local place.
I so wanted the food to match the initial impression.
We asked our waitress to recommend breakfast dishes. We took two of her recommendations. The California Benedict and the burrito.
The California eggs Benedict was okay. The burrito was okay. The home made potatoes looked great but were limp and had no flavor.
The turkey fried chicken looked interesting., but was so disappointing. It was clearly a yellow battered limp tasteless piece of meat, that was not fried. It was bad. I took the recommendation of hollandaise

Really quaint restaurant with a small town cafe feel. Expect a decent wait if you go during brunch hours on the weekend. They have self serve coffee while you wait which is nice. The service was friendly and attentive.

Some of the food fell flat. The chicken and chorizo smothered burritos looked good. There was little chicken and almost a whole can of whole beans in each burrito. The flavor was muted and lacked seasoning. Even my son was put off on the amount of beans. My wife had scrambled eggs, bacon, and the standard skillet potatoes. The eggs were over cooked and dry. In general
