Panther Valley RV Park
USA Today and AZ Central News voted us one of the best RV parks for families and nature lovers in Reno, NV. Panther Valley RV Park provides ten acres of country living in the City of Reno. The secluded valley is a thousand feet above the smog, but only a ten minute drive to downtown. Across from Schoot Park, the City of Reno's large new outdoor recreation area.

Includes mountain bike dirt ramps, skate park, basketball courts, barbecue pits, and a water playground. If you want the Ritz, try someplace else. If you want a great place to live for a night or a decade, with a caring park staff, we welcome you to Panther Valley RV Park. I chose Panther Valley RV Park because it has such an incredible blend of differing landscapes on the various levels.

I called to make reservations for 3 months. I have a 1983 fully restored class C RV. Without even looking at it, they said NO, TOO OLD!

My experience with this place has been horrific!
Five years ago the owner put his son, Camron , in the management position. He filled the maintence manager position.
Now: the grounds are filthy, one can not take a "real" shower for the vandalism. Not to mention heat in winter. The sewer system is on it's last leg. Water is never tested. The power system burns out small electronics regularly, and runs
so costly it might double the monthly costs.
Maintenance does nothing properly if at all.

This used to be the most beautiful
and comfortable place to live, that is until the owner put his son in as Manager of our park! Now we have a supposed maintaince man getting paid and obviously doing nothing as our park is quickly turning into a SLUM!!! Our wonderful park is now disgusting with garbage everywhere incompetent maintaince being performed and no management available at all!! Sad story huh?

This is a great RV park if you want hassle free staff spacious sites.
The staff is friendly and helpful.
I used the shower and restroom facilities once in a while but have my own in my RV, they are older but cleaned on a regular basis.
Spaces are yo be maintained by RV renter (as common in ALL RV parks) some do and some don't.
This is the better of all RV Parks in the area in my opinion.
The down fall to this RV Park is the main street is used like a freeway, it's clearly posted 25mph, and people can't respect that.

Great RV Park. Small community with friendly people who care about their neighboors and neighborhood. Family friendly, park with skate park and sprinklers to play in directly across the street. Quiet and peaceful. Would visit again any time and will tell others the same.

Because we have a 1985 Rv, that is not welcome in many parks, dispite the fact is does not leak, we have been treated very nicely here, and very welcomed. Only complaint is there needs to be some upgrading in the restrooms. Also this section has very poor free wi-fi, guess I should not complain.

We were only going to be here for a month and we decided to stay longer. The staff down at the store are very nice, and very helpful. The restrooms are very clean and they have showers also, 24 hours very well lit up and they are locked and you are given a key. It's close to shopping easy access on and off the freeway and very reasonably priced

We're definitely NOT RV snobs... but...
We stayed here because we wanted a place north of Reno and out of town a ways. It was a mistake. The restrooms were filthy, our RV "yard" was overgrown with weeds, and the overhead lines were hanging so low (due to a leaning pole) that we had to perform some driving gymnastics just to leave our space. Oh... and there's a $5 per key deposit if you want a key to the restrooms.
The people were nice but this place needs some serious repair and upgrade. I doubt it would pass a health inspection as it stands now.
Too bad... this COULD be a nice park. :-(
