We have a great assortment of wines that are full of flavor. We are known for our variety of red wines, but also offer whites, rose, and sweets. There is plenty of room to go outside, enjoy the country, and play a game of bags. Sit back on the patio, watch chickens, beautiful sunsets and our newly growing vineyard while swirling a glass of Cast Iron Wine.

Took a drive out of Houston to Sealy this past weekend and found this winery. Very small but had a great time! And the wines were decent; a couple were quite good! We particularly liked the red blend, 'Meriam'. This winery has barely been operating for 2 years. The owner is very knowledgeable, easy to talk to, and has plans to expand the building. Look forward to see what he does in another 2 years.

On a recent trip to Houston for a brewery tour, we randomly decided to stop by this winery in the middle of nowhere! When we pulled up, it really seemed like the middle of nothing...but when we walked in, it was hoppin'! It's pretty small inside (and it was raining that weekend so no one was outside) and all of the tables were full of people! They were having a fun event with fondue, so that may have been part of the popularity, but man, everyone was so welcoming!
We did the tasting, which was maybe $10-15 for 4-5 pours. Not bad. We each ended up buying a couple of bottles as well, because

Awesome place to get a good tasting. Generous pours and good prices. Definitely kid friendly and a family atmosphere. Yard games for the adults to entertain themselves. The owners are some of the nicest people and show love to everyone that enter their doors. If you want good wine, good prices and family fun...I suggest you try it out. You won't be disappointed.

I was fortunate to be able to attend the Grand Opening of the Cast Iron Winery. It has a very relaxed, rustic, atmosphere. The friendly, and knowledgeable staff were attentive to you. The kids were outside running around chasing each other, or playing with the wagon, while the adults were either inside trying the wines or relaxing outside enjoying a glass of wine.
I look forward to the next visit.
