Zimmerman Steel's design solutions, production and project metal fabrication, and welding services expand to all areas of the oil and natural gas industry. Refineries and other heavy industrial areas require steel longevity, integrity and safety. For upstream, midstream and downstream requiring structural steel, we use all metals including abrasion resistant, high temperature metals and fabrication.
Zimmerman Steel designs, produces, and fabricates commercial truck trailer components for the transportation industry. We work closely with our truck trailer equipment customers when specialized fabrication is required to meet their production needs. Our fabrication and welding for trucks trailers are in accordance with DOT 49 CFR regulations.
Zimmerman Steel fabricates and welds highway guardrails, posts and additional accessories. Our highway steel products follow DOT regulations and Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) guidelines in compliance with crash testing and are crashworthy compliant. Roadside posts, end terminals, pedestrian handrails, guardrails and other hardware accessories can be made of steel, stainless steel and aluminum.

My experience: I called for a quote on 24ft of steel tubing cut into about 6 sections. The secretary said she would call me back after getting the price. She never did and after 3 days I called again. She then asked if she could call me back and she did later that day. She gave me my quote and I accepted and offered to pay up front. She said to pay when I pick the steel up and she would call me when it's done. Three weeks later, no call. I'm not sure where the problem is here, if it's the secretary or someone else. She wasn't very friendly though. I'm guessing they don't care about small orders
