Located just to the East of the Old Mill next to the Cinder Cone Pottery Studio in the Old Ironworks District, this charming bakery and eatery has our favorite baked goods in all of Bend. Fantastic coffee, charming European atmosphere, and ohh, the banana bread!

Can’t say enough positive things about our experience with Bluebird Day Vacation Rentals in Bend. The house we rented was clean and well-maintained with special touches that went above and beyond our expectations for a rental. Communication with the Bluebird Day team was easy and they were proactive at every step. Our family had a wonderful time in Sunnyside.

This was our first experience with Bluebird Day Rentals in Bend. We have rented many houses and worked with several rental businesses, i.e., airbnb, vrbo, SunRiver rentals, etc, and hands down Bluebird is the best! Very attentive and flexible. This company is locally owned and is genuinely interested in making sure clients have a great experience. Shout out to Paige - she made sure we knew that she was available, over the Christmas holiday, if we needed anything. Lastly, the rentals that they manage are all very nice and the house we stayed at was spotless.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Sparks Cottage. It's a lovely spacious updated home, with a well equipped kitchen, comfortable beds, beautiful living room with a wood burning stove and a spacious dining area. The house was immaculately clean when we arrived. There was snow during our stay and Bluebirds came to shovel the driveway, walkways and decks. Sparks location couldn't be better for enjoying Bend's restaurants, the Deschutes River Trail, and food shopping at the fabulous Newport Ave Market. We'd definitely return to Sparks, and highly recommend Bluebird Day rentals.

The home was as advertised. It was fully equipped and a very nice 3 bedroom home. We skied Mt Bachelor and it was a nice place to return to at the end of the day. The fireplace really warmed us up! Its basically 7 minutes from everywhere in Bend. We will definitely stay there again.

The refrigerator was very noisy, and ran throughout the night. Maybe it’s

Advertised as fully stocked, not so.
That being said, a nice place to stay while visiting family in Bend.

Bluebird Day Rentals in Bend was great to rent from. The are very professional, have wonderful choices of rentals and are very responsive to all questions I had. They were very nice and helpful on the phone and emails. Also they checked to make sure everything was ok when we first got there.
We rented Riverside cottage and loved it. I almost don't want to write a review so it won't get all booked up when we want to rent again. It is better than pictured, very well stocked and the best part was the location. We parked the car and biked or walked everywhere (restaurants, stores, groceries, etc)

We had a wonderful stay in the Blue cottage. It was convenient to coffee shops, restaurants and a grocery store. Easy walking to the river and downtown. Very comfortable, had all the kitchen items one would want, and provided a really nice little sitting area outside to enjoy the weather.
We will use Bluebird Day again! The team was very responsive to our questions and we enjoyed our time in Bend.

We stayed at the Red Door rental. It was fantastic! Perfectly located on the West side within walking distance to a ton of great restaurants, the river (8 min walk) and downtown (12 minute walk). The Safeway and liquor store were a quick drive away too!
The house was light, very airy and we loved that each room had its own bathroom. With 3 couples it was perfect! Lots of space to hang inside and we used the fire pit outside each night.
I have to give a big shout out to the staff at BlueBird Day Vacation. They were always responsive, helpful and polite and professional. I was impressed!

"My husband, Tim and I had a WONDERFUL time staying in the Hummingbird Cottage for almost two weeks! The set-up was perfect for two with its lovely, welcoming living spaces. There is a cozy front porch with 2 chairs, where one can sit and read during the day, or watch the beautiful sunset late in the evening. The living room makes for comfortable reading or TV viewing (yay, Tour de France!). The kitchen has everything you'll ever need with a nice 2-seater table placed right next to a large window to watch the world go by. The bedroom has a queen bed, sitting area, and a large closet for storage

We rented the Penny Luck Cottage and it was an awesome vacation! The house was super clean, easy to access, plenty of amenities. The space was laid out really well, and the "information" from the locals and where to go/what to do was really helpful. I would not only book again with Bluebird Day Vacation Rentals, but I'd rent that specific cottage. It was perfect!
