I went in today Debbie was no longer there I really hate to see her go she was awesome! Dr. Sattar is even more awesome! The front office staff does need training I have been a patient there since I've been in the DFW area. I drove in this morning quite early for my appointment set in the lobby for a long time over an hour then I went back and I was back there for 45 minutes waiting on the doctor. Let me add I was waiting on the new doctor not dr. Sattar or Debbie because she was gone I had to leave after being there for 2 hours and 15 minutes. This is ridiculous I request it to speak with Dr sattar

Better than a regular doctor but was in a hurry to get onto next patient. Take time with your patients, listen to what they have to say. You may be surprised. Had a toe that's been infected and was not asked this time to see if it was better or worse. Took a mental health screening last appt. but no discussion on results this time. Doctors and practitioners need to take a more active role in their patients lives.
UPDATE Jan 2020
Lowering my rating to 2 stars. Sick. Needed an appointment had to wait for next available. FYI: They dont have sick appointments. Morning of my apt, they rescheduled

Would not recommend the doctor or staff. This is a learning medical office so there are students here from UNT and other universities.
This should actually be a great thing so students get the first hand experience with patients. However, the staff (doctor and RN included) do not have appropriate bedside manner or patient handling in my opinion so I think there is little value for students. This is not even the biggest problem with this office, the biggest issue is that they will tell you that lab fees either don't need to be paid or that they will work out the lab fees with the lab. I was told

UPDATE!!! Although I still think the physicians are great, I have been scammed by the manager/billing "guy" out of almost $300.00!! (2 visits) They accept my insurance but asked if I pay full, upfront until my insurance pays them, then they would give me my money back. I have NEVER had a problem with my insurance so I agreed. When I haven't received my refunds, I called and they blamed my insurance, so I called my insurance and they told me they had it filed as fraudulent and they were just waiting for the manager to call back to fix the problem. When I told them to just call them back, they refused

This office staff is the worst I have ever experienced. They are unwilling to assist patients when prior authorization is required and are constantly saying what they aren't going to do. When you ask to speak with someone else they refuse. The only reason I have continued as a patient is because Dr. Deb has been the only one who has been able to assist in getting me the correct blood work and properly diagnose me. Trust me, don't schedule appoints with then as the office experience will not be pleasant.

Been a patient for a year and my experience started out fine and got increasingly more frustrating a they became worse at communication, started trying to schedule unnecessary appointments, etc.
And my breaking point was today.
I called CVS to follow up on why my prescription I'd asked about a few weeks ago still wasn't ready. They said they would try contacting the doctor again but they weren't getting a response and that there were no refills on this particular prescription (a medicine that I've taken since I was 19-I'm 25 now. This has always been handled and refilled by whoever is my GP at

I always had a great experience here. Doctor is thorough and helped me make dietary changes that nobody else recommended and I was actually able to get my cholesterol down. Instead, other doctors just shove statins in my face and say I'll need to take them forever (I'm 26). She has a more holistic approach before turning to prescription drugs. Highly recommend.

Office manager has no interpersonal skills whatsoever. He's rude, uninformed, and he just wants to get you off the phone. I've left over 5 messages to get my immunization records for nursing school and even went in person when I got no response. I was talked down to and I wasn't even able to explain myself or why I needed my records so desperately. Everyone at the office seems to be intimidated by him and miserable working there! Its unfortunate because the Dr.'s are very pleasant and thorough.

Nice doctor but horrible office manager. Dr Sattar was great but my experience with the office manager was unlike anything I have ever experienced. The office tried to charge me $75 for the visit as opposed to my $25 copay. Not only was this printed clearly on my insurance card, but also I've been on this insurance over 5 years and never had this happen. The sweet girl at the front tried to charge us $75 at the end of the visit, but when I explained my insurance she sent me to the office manager. Long story short, I very politely told the office mgr that I would pay the $25 copay (like I always
