Services
Kelsey Ruffing Counseling strives to help individuals of all ages learn to thrive despite their difficult life circumstances. A positive strengths-based approach to therapy allows clients to feel an increase in the quality of their life and their overall well-being. Therapy at Kelsey Ruffing Counseling is based on three core values: compassion, empathy and understanding.
This 6-week virtual group is accepting 5-8 individuals ages 14-17 who are looking to connect with others and strengthen social skills. This virtual support group is accepting 5-10 individuals ages 20+ who experience chronic pain, and have, for at least 6 months time. Topics to be Covered: The goal of this group is to facilitate support in order to learn how to cope with, and manage chronic pain.
This partnership allows for a more comprehensive mind-body approach to therapy, and a more holistic approach to health and wellbeing. We know the mind-body connection is a strong one, and it is often the case that the body's lack of nutrients exacerbates mood and anxiety symptoms. We know gut health is absolutely essential to mental health, and that sleep and stress relief are also at the top of that list.
Organic teas are known for their various benefits for both mental and physical wellness. I (Kelsey Ruffing) have always believed in the healing properties of tea and have personally seen the benefits. This is why KRC has partnered with Fraser Tea! Fraser Tea offers organic hand-crafted tea that is sent fresh in order to preserve health benefits.
The more we raise awareness, the more we work to break the stigma surrounding mental health and seeking help. KRC has partnered with an amazing company called Ferris Built. Ferris Built is a Seattle based company run by Lindsey, a mom of twin daughters. Her wonderful products promote mental wellness and self care & 25% of the net proceeds go towards mental health advocacy programs!

Kelsey is amazing. I have been seeing her for 6 years now. I have watched her grow and progress professional over the years and she has done the same for me. She has helped me through a lot in my life and I wouldn't be here today without her. She is a very kind person who is always willing to help. I can't thank her enough for everything she has done for me. I would recommend her to anyone who wants to start therapy to better themselves.

I have been seeing Kelsey for about 3 years now and I would highly recommend her to anyone needing any sort of counseling. If she feels she can’t help, for whatever reason, she is a great source for finding someone who can! I was very apprehensive in the beginning, based on how I was raised to view therapy, but Kelsey made the process so easy. She is very relatable and a great listener. You can tell she truly cares about each and every one of her clients. I had tried seeing another therapist when Kelsey went back to school, but the second she opened her own practice, I went right back to her
