We offer the convenience of lab draws at our office or can send mobile phlebotomy to your home. We offer extended visits with Dr. Gartenberg with minimal face to face contact using video assisted visits. We are located conveniently in Old Town Scottsdale just East of the Scottsdale Public Library at the Civic Center.
We have plenty of parking available. Parking is located can be found along 1st Street and 75th Street. Additional parking available behind the building accessible through the alley way. In the event the area is extremely crowded, there is a parking structure adjacent to the Scottsdale Public Library less than a block away.

Services
We make every effort to decrease the cost of your medical care. Therefore, we request payment arrangements for all office services at the time they are rendered unless prior arrangements have been made. We accept debit and credit cards only for your convenience (no cash or checks). If we are a participating provider of your insurance company, we will bill them.

I highly recommend Modern Family Medicine. Dr. Gartenberg is so thorough and offers all testing you need (plus more). My past family doctors only did the typical routine stuff (possibly missing issues early on) when I saw Dr. G. I appreciated how she informed me about other testing. She is a great listener and SO caring. My experience is that she focuses on “preventative” care. She has referred me to other specialist doctors to be 100% sure she doesn’t miss anything. Seeing the specialist is my choice so there’s no surprises on billing. I’m glad she accepts UHC.

The doctor here seems to lack confidence and knowledge. Basic questions I asked were met with too many “maybe” and “I don’t know” I even asked if she’s seen issues like mine and she said yes!!! It’s scary to have a healthcare provider that’s unsure of themselves. I would never recommend anyone go here ever. Front office staff is nice at least.

My wife is a patient of this doctor she take her time with her patient so much time she is late to her next appointment. Then she charge fees if u have to reschedule when she is late. All she wants is money .You can never get a hold of the doctor with out having to make an appointment and paying. She never send medications on time even after call the office on multiple occasions. She only has 1 medical Assistant an some other people who answer the phone who you can’t understand or don’t make sense this is the worst family practice I’ve ever seen. We will not be returned here

I've been going to Modern Family Medicine for a year and a half. The office is clean, comfortable, and stylish... Think comfortable chair, unique art, and added available benefits like mindfulness classes & an oxygen bar. Dr. Gartenberg herself is a rockstar! I've been seeing Dr. Gartenberg at for several years. I actually met her at a previous office and followed her when she opened Modern Family Medicine. It is so difficult to find a primary care doctor that actually has knowledge of supplements and other types of medicine other than traditional. She has always been a caring and attentive physician. Staff at her new office are also very polite and friendly people. Minimal wait time is the best part since I am a physician myself and don't have time to be late. I always feel better after I've gone to Modern Family Medicine especially after an acupuncture
