Thank you Pennsylvania Bakery! You made an awesome cake for my son's graduation / birthday / going to college party last week and it was THE TALK of the day! People couldn't stop raving and you have at least 5 new customers from it. I have been a big fan of the PA Bakery since I bought a piggy party cake for my daughter's 14th birthday.
Some specialty products require more time than others. We suggest that you place cake and bakery orders at least 2-3 days in advance, but often we can accommodate cake orders when placed the day before pick-up. However, for a tier cake we ask for at least one week notice, or more depending on the complexity of the design.
We accept cash, personal & business checks, and all forms of debit and credit cards, including Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover. Business Wholesale Accounts can be set up by contacting the bakery at (717) 763-7755. Payment is required upon pickup of orders.
In cases of full sheet cakes, elaborate decorations, novelty cakes, or tier cakes, a deposit is required upon placing order and full payment is required BEFORE production of cake.If order is cancelled, 15% of total order cost will be withheld for our processing and service fee.

It brought me to tears...what I mean is, our son's 35-year-old gingerbread house that was given to him when he was 4 years old while undergoing cancer treatment, needed a lot of TLC. I didn't even know if that was possible, it was in such bad shape.They gave it the love it needed and it is stunning. He would have loved to see it like this! Thank you, I to the Pennsylvania Bakery for such a wonderful job.!

Found this bakery on Yelp, glad I stopped by. There is a lot to choose from, ranging from traditional pastries to Italian cookies and local Pennsylvania items to carefully crafted gourmet dessert items. I should have picked up a few more things to go. They also make beautiful cakes, some of which are on display in the window. Friendly staff, great selection, and easy to find on the main drag. Just be careful not to roll off the edge when parking around the side.

Their quality of cakes have gone down a lot. Their carrot cake used to be the best in the area. It was super sweet and excessively spiced. It was moist this time though, the last time I bought a carrot cake off their shelves it was super dry so I special ordered it this time.

When I say this place just lost all my respect and business! The worst experience and customer service. The Manager Rachel is condescending and RUDE! I found this place last year because we usually bake cookies for our neighbors but due to the pandemic we decided to find a local place to make our holiday tradition live on. First, I go this morning to buy for my business. I spent over $100 on little cookies. Not much but it's still something. I go back later to get cookies with my Son because he likes picking out cookies for the neighbors. The attitude and vibes were just disgusting. The manger

This morning I received outstanding customer service from Rachel, one of the owners. She helped me purchase my Mom's favorite cheese cake. The bakery was well stocked and all the employees were smiling and working hard to fulfill everyone's needs. Festive place this Christmas season with fine bakery items and excellent customer service - I highly recommend!

What a huge, tremendous selections of sweets. A large variety of cakes that all looked delicious. They have large and mini versions of many items. If the full-size cakes are too much for you, they have individual spices as well. A large selection of cookies. Prices are a little high but they were very busy so the cost isn't keeping anyone away. Can't wait to taste my selections.

Decadent and delicious are the two words that pop into my mind when I think of this bakery. The options for sweet and savory treats is nearly overwhelming and although the hardest part will be refraining from buying one of each, everything we got was delicious. Massive stuffed cookies, creamy cheese danishes, and perfect bite size cookies were plentiful. Service is quick and friendly.

Our Wedding cake turned out so amazing and i was so happy with the outcome. we weren't able to drop off the flowers the day before but were able to put them on once the cake arrived. The cake was tasteful and everyone enjoyed the desserts as well. I had no problem with anything working with them would recommend them.

The Pennsylvania Bakery is quite a trek from my house for a bakery... but it is always WORTH IT! Everything is always so fresh and we've tried so much. We've had a bunch of their stuffed cookies - large cookies filled with buttercream that weigh a pound - and every variety has been great. Their iced sugar cookies are always fun and their buttercream is delicious. Their donuts are super fresh and perfect with a coffee. We've never ordered a full cake from them but based on everything else we've had i wouldn't hesitate to order one. If you're ever in the area, stop in

Ordered a cake for my daughters boyfriend over the phone (I live out of state) after emailing what I wanted. I had to call back and make some changes after original order was placed. The day before the order was for they called to "confirm" my order to make sure all was correct. My daughter picked up the cake and called me upset with how it looked when opening the box fully. (They only showed her through the plastic window of the box). Everything about it was not what was CONFIRMED and the drawing looked like it was done by a well let's just say not a Pa bakery cake decorator

Moved to the area years ago and have heard so much about The Pennsylvania Bakery. Decided to stop by. Everything looked amazing and we got a variety of different items to try. Like so many other people have said, the looks were better than the taste. Much better. No problem with the service and the packaging of our products was excellent but if the products don't feel fresh and taste fresh and delicious, what's the point? I've had much better products at grocery store bakeries.

I have been going here since I was an infant. This place is the best bakery I've ever been to. Ignore the bad reviews - I now live in DC and still, to this day, this is the best. My childhood was filled with the Strawberry Torte cake. It is a whipped cream (oh my gosh best thing you've ever had) icing cake, with fresh strawberries and a custard in the middle. I love love LOVE this place and it makes the best cake I've ever had. 10/10, from a DC snob

I heard about this bakery from a friend who loves them so much that she's tried around 100 of their cookies! I reviewed them on my Instagram page @cookie.counter.reviews where I've tried 683 cookies from 66 different companies.
I've attached photos of the reviews on them. They are in my top 5 favorite companies for cookies! They are soft, cakey, very sweet, and massive! I got their cookies through their online orders, but I can't wait to try them in person! I highly recommend visiting if you are lucky enough to be nearby! I've heard that all of their baked goods are amazing

The COVID précautions are non-existent at this established.
Too many people in the store, capacity is not regulated. There is an employee waiting at the door to give you a number (so she sees everyone who walks in). She let multiple people into the building without masks.
I wish I would have taken a photo before leaving. There was at least 50 people waiting in the same area. I've been to the bakery twice before but will never be returning.

Meh. I was overwhelmed by line to get in, the beautiful building and massive array of sweet treats, yet underwhelmed with the taste. Bread pudding? Meh. Sugar cookies? Meh. Cinnamon bun? Meh. Almond cookie? Not bad at all...actually pretty good! But when I can only say pretty good about one item in a $40+ order, that's not a good thing.
Not sure why people flock there, but I'll save myself the hassle next time and save the sugar and carbs for something more worthwhile.

I have had a number of baked goods from The PA Bakery and don't see why the locals think this place is so special! It's not. Everything "looks" good, but as others have said, is hit-or-miss and way overpriced. Holiday cookies, while ok, could have been bought at Wegman's for less and would have tasted much better. The parking lot is always crowded, which I would normally take as a good sign, but in this case, I have come to realize people around here just don't know any better. As the saying goes: "you don't know what you don't know." My advice
