Our family started going to OKA early this year. The OKA staff has made it a great experience that is both fun and challenging. They do a great job handling students with a broad range of skill. I've really enjoyed getting to participate in class along side our kids as well as joining an all ranks class where I get a chance to see more advanced skills. Very family friendly environment and I would definitely recommend giving it a try.

We’ve I it been attending Olathe Karate Academy a few weeks, but my son is already so comfortable and looks forward to coming each time. Kyoshi Palmer and Renshi Ashleigh are welcoming and very organized. It’s clear they have a passion for what they do and they are excellent at it. They offer so many different time and class options which is also helpful to our busy schedule. We highly recommend Olathe Karate Academy!

I just turned 40 and my son is 7. We started training together a few weeks ago and we are both really enjoying it! The training is excellent for multi-generational students, and we both have learned a lot from the instructors. There is an EXCELLENT online library of videos and training information. We initially got a tour if the dojo and a great overview with Kyoshi and Renshi. The value of the membership cannot be overstated, and we really appreciate we can attend any class at anytime for our rank. HIGHLY RECOMMEND for any family interested in learning karate, especially together.

Olathe Karate Academy is welcoming of all ages and ability levels. My family and I felt welcome and included, and never intimidated. Advanced students are eager to help new students. It is a safe environment where others are there to learn and help others learn, not to judge. Would highly recommend for families looking for a healthy and fun activity to do together!

Our Granddaughter started classes at Olathe Karate academy last Fall and has thoroughly enjoyed it. The atmosphere is very family friendly and the owners are always there and relate very well to their younger students. Classes are organized, the goals of reaching a new belt level are clearly defined and they are very encouraging. Overall a great experience and would highly recommend to anyone wanting to get their child involved in karate.
