As one of only two theater/ballroom combinations left in the country to this day and listed on the National Register of Historic Places, these unique venues represent an incredible heritage within South Bend. Had our prom here for about 300, and it was a good space with high ceilings and kept a fair temperature for all the dancing.
The 8,800-square-foot Palais Royale Ballroom is sure to dazzle you. From the polished hardwood floors to the 35-foot ceiling, featuring an elegant crystal chandelier and gilded with gold-leaf, you will be swept away in its grandeur. The tall windows draped in lavender velvet provide natural light to the space.
Navarre Hospitality is the exclusive food and beverage provider for the Morris Performing Arts Center complex, which includes both the Palais Royale ballroom and the Morris/Leighton theater. We offer special event consulting and custom-designed menus for all types of events. While our menus offer a variety of items from which to choose, your Food and Beverage Representative will work with you to create a custom-designed menu for your event.

Richelle and the team at the Palais Royale go above and beyond for their couples. Richelle will work tirelessly to ensure that your dream wedding or event will exceed your high expectations. She's an absolute pleasure to work with and truly cares for her clients. The food is amazing, the atmosphere is something out of a 1920's fairytale and the wait staff is so professional. I can't recommend the Palais Royale more for your wedding or event.

Great 1900's era venue of days gone bye. Friendly staff & afforable rates whether hosting a wedding or special event. Within the walls lies a rich history of the roaring twenties dating back to its roots as the historic ballroom downtown South Bend. Within walking distance to several hotels and minutes from campus help make The Palais a destination for wedding receptions.

BEST KEPT SECRET IN INDIANA!! It's been a year and a half since my husband and I had our cocktail reception and wedding reception in the Morris Civic Theatre lobby and the Palais Royal Ballroom (respectively) and we are STILL getting compliments on how amazing our wedding was. These two venues are the most elegant and beautiful spaces that I've seen in Indiana, especially for the price. Now, don't get me wrong, it's not cheap by any means, but compared to some of the other venues we visited, you don't get nearly as much bang for your buck as you do with this place. The
