Hudson Catholic is a private, Catholic, co-educational secondary school located 2 miles from downtown Jersey City, and approximately 4 miles from New York City. Founded in 1964, as an all boys institution, Hudson Catholic became co-ed in 2009. School: A regional, coeducational high school for young men and women of the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Newark, established in 1964.
Hudson Catholic Regional High School has a 56 year history built upon an over 300-year long tradition of Lasallian education. Founded as one of a number of regional high schools in 1964 by then Archbishop Thomas Boland of the Newark Archdiocese, the school had been conducted until 2012 under the leadership of the De La Salle Christian Brothers.
Last year, Hudson Catholic Regional High School embarkef on a Self-Study for Re-Accreditation by the Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools. As part of our process, we formed a Planning Team consisting of members of each of our groups of stakeholders including our Advisory Board Members, Administration, Faculty, Staff, Students, Parents and Alumni.
At Hudson Catholic, we have a long standing tradition of academic success and college readiness. For the past 22 years, we have boasted a 100% college acceptance rate and have sent students to Ivy Leagues schools, Boston College, Villanova, and the United States Military Academy.
We boast several unique programs including a student exchange program in Spain, Dual Degree and Accelerated College Experience programs, and an award winning Engineering Program.The Class of 2019 earned over 13.9 million in scholarship dollars! I spent the worst 4 years of my life in that school. Br ray Murphy, br pat king two pieces of trash. I hated that school. Only a few teachers were good in there mr Matthews David Khale Angela debellis. Mr nagel. I went to summer school all we did was watch movies. What a waste of time my parents wasted there money. School is garbage
