Vinny's Towing & Recovery

We are from another state visiting family in MD, when we were hit by a drunk driver. As the drunk driver was arrested, the State Trooper asked Vinny's Towing to give us a ride back to Frederick with our demolished rental car. The tow driver could not take us as he had his girlfriend riding along in the cab. Not sure his boss knew about it. He rudely asked the other Vinny's driver towing the drunk driver's car to give us a ride. He reluctantly drove us to some gas station in the back of beyond. Had an accident back on february 1st of 2021. state trooper called in vinnys to recover the vehicle. the vehicle was totaled vinnys told me the 543 dollar towing bill would be taken care of by me signing my title over which i did on the same day. fast forward two april they submitted another 100 to my auto insurance and then submitted a bill for 848 dollars to the maryland insurance administration as a complaint. which was sent to my auto insurance to try and say that was the bill that was owed. if i knew i was going to be scammed out of my vehicle i would of let it set in vinnys for storage fees

Great service!!! I got a flat in my truck on the way to the hospital my wife was there she had gone in to labor with our daughter. I had no jack in the truck and it was the Wednesday before thanksgiving. After calling multiple places everyone had a 2-3 hour wait. Not Vinny's though they rushed a guy out. He was awesome fast and professional and I made it in time to the hospital. Would recommend them to anyone!!

Excellent service from call to finish. had 2 flat tires and cody was kind, quick, professional, and personable! hope i don't ever need a tow again but if i do, i know who to call! thank you!

I was moving over the weekend and the Uhaul I had broke down. I couldn't reach anyone in Uhaul. My friend's mother went to Uhaul on prospect st to tell them I needed assistance. They dispatched roadside assistance (from Vinny's towing). He sat there another 2 hours with me waiting for Uhaul to issue a tow truck. Finally they did and Vinny's had a tow truck to us within 5-10 mins of being issued. The two young men who helped me Saturday were INCREDIBLE!!! Thank you both for everything!

Don't ever buy anything from jjkane at this location.
Jjkane uses these maggot to storages their units and After 8 days they charge you Outrageous storages fees for no reason. I'm not surprised they're just Another scumbag towing company.

I had towing done by Vinny. They said they take credit cards but after using the service 2 times, they use their personal cell phones to photo your card since they never seen to carry a credit machine or carbon copy machine. Don't let them use their personal cell phone since it can be shared or forwarded out to others. Arrange ahead of time payment handling and get suckered into them saying they don't have one or you need to pay cash. This is not a good way to do business on their end. We will not use them in the future. Beware.

Vinny's has recovered vehicles for me three times now: one motorcycle, one car, and one truck. Every single time they have arrived as fast as reasonably possible, the drivers have been very courteous and helpful, and they have brought the vehicle to the required destination very quickly (twice were home instead of shop). Vinny's is familiar with working with insurance companies for damage claims as well as roadside assistance.

They were consistently rude. Unhelpful when asking questions. They acted as if getting your car towed was an everyday occurrence and we should know what was going on. They were unreasonably difficult and rude when retrieving my vehicle and overcharged me.

Jimmy was our tow truck driver. He was prompt super friendly and went the extra mile to make sure he got my car out with no additional damage done to the yard that I was stuck in, and there was absolutely no damage done to my car. Would highly recommend. Jimmy is great!

They were called on a Sunday, They said it would be about 35 min. They arrived before the 35 min, loaded my vehicle and had it to the repair shop all in less than an hour.

These guys are terrific! They are always there when you need them to be. I have used them quite a bit in the last few years, this month alone I used them 3 times. With each service I have received outstanding service. If your looking for big truck towing or repairs definitely give Vinny's a call.

These guys towed me 40 miles home when I was stranded on Christmas Eve. The nice man showed up in 20 minutes!

I cannot begin to thank Tweedy enough for his quick, friendly roadside service for my flat tire. He was accurate in finding my location despite my vague directions being that I was not local. My flat tire was changed quickly and neatly! He was so careful to unwrap my brand new car's jack and tool kit and put it back nicely after he was finished. He informed me that my donut spare should not be used to drive the remaining 200 miles I had to get home. He was able to suggest locations where I could take my tire to see if the could repair it, or replace it. Thank you so much for your service

They aren't anything different from any other towing company besides the fact that they are extremely rude and disorganized. They only have one receptionist that hate her job. They don't care about customer.

Absolutely thrilled with their customer service, professionalism and follow up skills. I broke down 9" from my driveway while turning in... I was blocking the entire street trying to figure out the problem. I used Roadside assistance and was allocated Vinny's T&R with Robb as my assistance provider. Robb's customer service and professionalism where next to none. Funny thing is, I fixed the problem, I managed to kick the main power supply to my truck appart under my dash getting out to move the trash can in my driveway. I called Robb back and let him I would no longer be needing

Had to get my car towed tonight. Charlie showed up and actually took the time to try and diagnose the problem. Nice guy and I could tell he really cared about what he did. Wanted to make sure that by moving my vehicle it didn't do more damage. He realized that if he didn't get it off the ground, and isolate all the wheels, it could have done permanent damage. He had some slick wheel carriers and moved it to my garage of choice. No muss no fuss.

Reliable and dependable, shows up fast and takes great care with vehicles being towed. I am glad to be able to refer my customers to Vinny's
