Garden Island Properties LLC is a family owned and operated Real Estate and Property Management business on the Island of Kaua'i in Hawaii. The company was founded by Greg and Sue Strickland in 1992 and just a few months later, Hurricane Iniki hit Kaua'i when Greg was renovating the office. Sue took the business to their home temporarily, while Greg remodeled the office and the doors opened for business prior to the end of 1993.
Thank you for considering Garden Island Properties, LLC & Vacation Rentals as your property management company. We are a family owned and operated business located in the town of Kapa'a and have been in the real estate and property management business since 1992. Greg has been a real estate Broker on the island of Kaua'i since 1989 and Sue has received her Brokers certificate in 2012.
Your rental car will be ready for you upon arrival. Kauai has many beautiful spots to see and adventure but you will need a car to see and do everything. There is one main road which runs from Kekaha (west side) to Haena (north shore) and is about 65 miles long. The main towns in between are Waimea, Hanapepe/Eleele, Koloa/Poipu, Lihue, Kapaa, Anahola, Kilauea, Princeville and Hanalei.
For reservations made directly with Garden Island Properties and not on a third-party website, there is a $225 deposit paid at the time of booking. Full payment is due 60 days prior to arrival. All linens and towels are provided; which includes beach towels. On properties with full kitchen, basic cookware and utensils are provided.
Garden Island Properties highly recommends travel insurance for your Hawaiian Vacation. Safeguard your vacation with Red Sky's Sun Trip Preserver Trip Cancellation/Interruption Insurance. Travel with peace of mind knowing that you are covered should anything unexpected come up. Uninhabitability of your primary residence or your traveling companion's primary residence caused by natural disaster.

Buying a house on Kauai these days is difficult. When you are relying on a loan and don’t know local contractors it is very easy to get priced out of the market. We had some complications with the seller's side in buying our dream home, but thanks in large part to Kanani’s detailed knowledge of the process, consistent dedication, and peerless professionalism, we were able to succeed.
Kanani was very responsive, creative in her solutions, and a persistent ally. We would not have our house without her. In our experience she's the smartest realtor on the island!

Myself and my assistant David worked closely with Kanani to sell my property out in Kauai just recently. She always took time to explain things in further detail if we needed, and made herself available to us when we needed clarity with anything throughout the process.

This rental definitely exceeded our expectations. The location of the home is central to many restaurants, stores, and food trucks, all within walking distance.
Just a 2 minute drive to 2 different shopping centers. Central to either going east of Kaua’i or West of Kaua’i.
If you’re like me, you love waking up to the sunrise and seeing a sunset during dinner, this house is THE ONE !!
