Booked a property rental with them for many thousands of dollars, paid them in full. Now their phone lines are cut and they do not answer my calls. This is as scary as it gets.
Edit: returned my money after several weeks of no communications. Not ideal but it was at the start of the corona virus outbreak so I am changing my review to give stars to give the benefit of the doubt.

Kauai Vacation Rentals helped to make our stay in PoiPu amazing. Our condo rental was a walk to some of the best snorkeling and boogie boarding on the island and we saw turtles from the lanai every morning.
They also reached out to us when our rental unit went up for sale, explaining our options, Hawaii rental laws, and giving us an ability to back out of renting the unit if we wanted. I was a little nervous, regardless by being protected by the laws as a renter but I’m glad we kept this booking! They did show the condo once while we were there (we were told this might happen, and not to worry

Contacted them by email about renting a condo. Never heard back from 1st email so had to send a second email stating that I WANT TO RENT the condo. Email back from them didn't let me know total price so I had to keep emailing them about the rental. While we were finalizing the details of the rental I get an email from them stating that the condo I wanted to rent was now not available asking if my dates were flexible. UM WHAT???? Since I had rented the condo 2x prior I knew I wanted to rent it again and that is what my 1st email indicated-THAT I WANT TO RENT THE CONDO. Just be aware that this rental

Just returned from our October visit which was awesome. We stayed at LaniKai which was glorious. The view was great but surpassed by the friends we made by hanging out at poolside with the guys and gals who live in the complex. The surrounding restaurants were not cheap but were delicious. We enjoyed Lava Lava. I really like the FOB for lunch. Hawaii is a spiritual experience for me and KVR lived up to my very high expectations. Everything worked out very well with no hiccups. I give KVR 4 stars. Getting in and out of the area is challenging with Kapaa traffic merging and creating lots of waiting

We rented a condo in November and had a very good experience. The condo was very clean and incredibly well organized. The property is amazing with the perfect view. We had a little problem with the stove and it was easy to contact the management company using their app. I will definitely book direct with this company the next time I come to Kauai.

Disorganized and slow to respond is the best way to describe this agency. The people that reapond to the phone were professional but the company is sub par when it comes to assisting persons renting their properties. If the owners knew how abysmal the service was they would find another management company
