In 1960 our grandfather, Donald Rath, started Rath Realtors and the Contra Costa Board of Realtors. Our father, Donald Rath Jr., took over Rath realtors in 1977 until he retired in 2014. Services
Buying a home will most likely be the biggest investment you will make. Realtors will assist you with the process of getting loan approved, as well as searching for your perfect home. A Realtor is your experienced guide in the home buying adventure. A Realtor may guide you to choosing a loan officer to get your home loan pre-approved, which should be one of the first things you do.
Selling your home is a major decision. Making sure you pick the right Realtor can be a challenging process too. Make sure you pick a Realtor who is full-time; picking a part-time agent who isn't always available can cost you money on best offers, not following up on inspections, appraisals, and loan approvals.
As your property managers we treat your property like it is our own. We manage your property with two goals in mind: keeping the property safe for tenants and maximizing the value of your property. Collect monthly rents (owners are paid by the 5th of every month), and provide monthly accounting with receipts if any, and yearly summaries for tax purposes.

Each applicant must provide a signature on page two with a Social Security number. There is a $30 processing fee (cash, money order to Mt Diablo PM or Paypal payments are accepted).

Raquel and her team have gone above and beyond our expectations for a property management company! She was so attentive and responsive to our emails, texts, and phone calls that she would frequently reply after hours and weekends! Any issues we had with the home were addressed very quickly with a professional sent out the next day. We were very pleasantly surprised to see no hidden fees when originally singing our lease, such as no administrative fees, extra taxes, no non-refundable deposits, etc. What they advertised for rent was what we paid! And no issues getting our refundable deposits back

Absolutely fantastic property management i rented a beautiful home in Martinez from them for a year and it was a wonderful experience. Any time i needed any help they were a quick message away and helped with anything that came up throughout my rental period. When we first viewed the property that we eventually rented through Mt. Diablo Prop Management, Raquel was refreshingly honest with us, letting us know that they had only just contracted with the property and she was not especially familiar with it and we would be the first tenants they managed there.
And yes, there did turn out to be a few unexpected issues and repairs that have needed to be made. But every single time I have submitted a work order or discussed a problem, Raquel has responded quickly, often the same day. Repair people are sent out immediately.

I called Mount Diablo Realty and left a message about renting my home. That afternoon I received a text from Raquel saying she will call me the next day. That was weeks ago and I never received a phone call from her. A property manager needs to be able to return phone calls. I will be working with another property manager in the area.

You can feel comfortable going forward if you want to rent from Mt Diablo. They were responsive and amicable throughout the year I rented from them. Very easy to work with and have a reasonable approach to addressing concerns. All requests were handled timely and I was satisfied completely with their service.

We have had nothing but a positive experience with both Lana and Raquel so far.
Lana especially has made the entire rental process so easy and seamless. We moved with a two week newborn and toddler, which could have been a highly stressful situation but Lana helped to make it quite the opposite.
We have continued to be impressed by them as landlords as they have handled issues at the rental swiftly and professionally.
On another note the house has been beautifully renovated and presented, which demonstrates the pride they have in the homes they represent.

I had a wonderful experience being a tenant under Mount Diablo Realty. Particularly Lana Skuba. Each and every time I had a question or needed a repair, Lana responded to me promptly, kindly, and professionally. When it was time for me to move out, I had some struggles getting the apartment all cleaned out due to family issues I was juggling. Lana gave me the extra time I needed to finish up so that I could get most of my deposit back. I am grateful for Lana's compassion and would recommend Mount Diablo to everyone.

I would give them more stars if I could. I don't think people understand how difficult it is to work with renters and home owners. It's impossible to make everyone happy but these ladies work really hard. When dealing with a home owner who is very protective about their home, and a renter who feels vulnerable living in someone else's home, these ladies really try hard to make sure both parties are taken care of. I'd never want to work with another property management. Thank you ladies for always sticking up for me! I can't thank you enough.

I can only assume that the person who gave this company 1 star has to be confused with another company. Not only have I bought a house through them but I also have my property managed by them for over a year. The team at Mount Diablo have integrity and loyalty to all their clients.
