We have lived in our house for 35 years and had done minimal renovations. We finally decided it was time and used The Flood Masters. They did an excellent job. Gustavo, the owner, listens to your ideas, needs and wants and will make reasonable recommendations. He was very in tune with our ideas and offered some of his own suggestions as to what would work/look best, which we usually took. Our decisions/selections went through 5 people before getting to Gustavo and if he didn't think something would look good/work he said so. There weren't many things he didn't agree with or

So, website clearly states they are available 24/7, and customers will never get an answering service. Well, after calling 3 times and leaving a message (on an answering service) no one has responded and they are unavailable as far as I can tell. Please don't tout how amazing your guarantee of reachability and then make it impossible to get a hold of anyone. Laughable

Bottom Line Up Front: Flood Masters is the most reliable, detail oriented, and honest contractor I have ever worked with and I will never go anywhere else.
I say this as a person with a lot of (bad) experiences and someone that tried many options... highly rated on Angie's Lists, Yelp, and personal recommendations. My experience ranges from known name brands to friends of friends and the story is all the same... the schedule is typically three times what they claim, there are always gotcha hidden upgrade fees, and the quality is just terrible resulting in re-work. What is wrong with your phones and ability to handle customers? I tried calling several times yesterday, it rings and rings and then goes to messaging. I left a message. This morning I tried calling a few more times. Finally I tried the "emergency" number which seems to result in dialing into the same phones. However, finally there is an answer, it's Gus. Called Flood Masters and spoke to Gus, who showed up at our home in 30 minutes. He assessed the damage, explained the process and called in his team who also was on site in less than thirty minutes!!!
The Flood Masters guys moved the furniture, pulled up the wet carpet, removed the water, sprayed anti mold stuff and setup dryer fans and dehumidifiers in no time. It was all so incredibly fast!
Everyone was very professional and pleasant. I highly recommend these guys.

No one wants to have standing water in your basement, and who knows what to do when it does happen. I called our insurance company and they recommended Flood Masters. I never imaged that within one hour Gus would have arrived and started the process of putting my home and sanity back in order. All the worker's were professional and considerate of working in a house that had children and dogs. They did GREAT work and wished that they had other services in their company!!!!!! Don't bother calling anyone else, this is a one stop shop that fixed all our issues.

During the "polar vortex" fo 2014, one of my pipes burst, wreaking havoc in my kitchen and flooding behind the walls.
I called Gus and he answered the phone, which to me was the first sign of success. While these might be small things, they are significant since I have had trouble with restoration services in the past. Here are the things that impressed me about Gus:
1. We immediately arranged a time for him visit the same day the pipe burst happened
2. He arrived on time and called 20 minutes before he showed up to remind me
3. Since this was a tentant home, I was unable to be present

I wish I could like this company, but the basement of the rental property I own flooded on Monday evening and I'm located on the other side of the country and I reached out to Flood Masters on Monday night and again on Tuesday (couldn't reach a live person either time), and today is Saturday and I still haven't heard from them. It is frustrating enough to not be able to be there to do things myself, but when one of the few companies that gets good reviews on Yelp doesn't call you back after 2 times, I wonder if they are really a good company...
