All our grapes are sourced from vineyards that are known for meticulous hand-farming techniques and the use of sustainable agriculture. These vineyards are located in cooler climates of Santa Ynez and Los Alamos Valleys in Santa Barbara County and the west side of Paso Robles, on the Central Coast of California.
We take great care in selecting the proper vineyards because we believe that great wine starts with great fruit. At Pantess Cellars, we practice both Old and New World winemaking techniques, as we believe strongly in tradition as well as modern innovation. Winemaker and founder Vince Pantess grew up in an Italian family in an industrialized area of New Jersey just west of New York City.
