Strey Cellars
Far from traditional; their cool, edgy winery experience is coupled by no less than great wine! The idea is to "stray from the norm." Strey embraces the industrial look and feel of the neighborhood and takes "modern" to the next level. The vibe is fresh and sleek with clicks and pops of color. Concrete counters, cider block walls and 18' ceilings leave you feeling far from cold the moment you stride through the door.

You are sure to be greeted with the warmest of welcomes. It goes without saying, Scott and Katie have poured their hearts and souls into giving locals and visitors alike a wine tasting experience unparalleled! Don't let youth fool you; Scott is a killer winemaker! With a soft spot for Zinfandel, it is a no-brainer that the Lodi Appellation is the source for most of his first-class fruit.

I want to start by saying that I typically don't write reviews but this place definitely deserved one! We needed a last minute venue to host a surprise birthday party for my partner. I spoke with Katie, who was absolutely amazing and made sure we had everything we needed. Loved the fact that it was kid friendly so that all of our guests could attend. There was a live band, which was perfect for all of us to get up and shake our booties. The wine was so good and we purchased plenty to take home! Would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking to have wine tasting day with some friends

Good people and even better wine! Scott and Katie make you feel like family the minute you walk through the door. You can taste Scott's love for wine making. His fruit forward California style of wine is on point. Their tasting list has variety, mixing in both the well known varietals along with those more unique varietals. Highly recommend.

The wines keep getting better and Natalie has joined the family. It's still our favorite place to while away a Sunday afternoon.
We do miss Tawny who stays home usually.

If I could give this place 10 stars, I absolutely would. My friend and I went there last weekend when a brewery that we wanted to go to didn't have any parking. It was the best decision we made! When we arrived we did not have reservations but were seated immediately. We each had a wine tasting flight, and let me tell you, these are some of the best wines I've EVER tasted and I have tried a ton of wine. I loved every single one! I decided to join the wine club and bought two bottles of their red blend, "slanted", and two bottles of their white blend, "inclined". Inclined

10 stars! Ask for Justine! She welcomed our pup and us close to closing time and didn't make us feel like we had to leave anytime! She was wonderful while explaining their wines and took the time to even let our puppy walk around and explore! Family friendly, dog friendly, must go!

Edgy, fun, fantastic. This family run business is second to none. Every wine we tried was bright and made me feel like a perfect summer day. The cab was superb, and the graciano amazing. The lady helping us was not only generous with her time, but with her knowledge of the area and other wineries. This will be a must stop every time we stop. Not only was the wine amazing, but the customer service was outstanding!

What a nice surprise! We were staying up the street and saw Strey and a couple other wineries nearby so gave it a try. Outside it’s not much; looks like the front office to a warehouse in an area full of warehouses.... Inside it was a nice place with a modern vibe, a terrific host, and one of our favorite tastings! All consistently very good wines. Also, only $10. They have a nice space for parties, gatherings, etc., as well. Not at all what we expected here!

If you're looking for a traditional wine tasting adventure, Oxnard and Camarillo are not that, but they do have hidden gem tasting rooms that have wines that will definitely surprise your pallet. Strey is definitely one of those must-stop tasting rooms. When you find their parking lot you are not going to be wowed by their presence in this seemingly industrial district, but just wait.... when you walk in you'll be greeted by one of the owners or one of the pourers and they are all so friendly and knowledgeable (and you may even be greeted by their adorable pup!!). Then you glance over

Strey Cellars is a great place to relax with friends and taste incredible wine. The owners and staff are very friendly; and on some weekends bands perform. Don't miss Food Truck Fridays and buy a bottle of your favorite wine to go with it. Dogs are welcome too. The Merlot and GSM are my favorites.

Oh my goodness, this is a really long overdue review. My husband I attended a wedding/reception here. The idea of it being hosted here was pretty hip in my opinion.

The placed was elegantly decorated and the service provided by the staff was fantastic.

The bride and room placed a caricature artist on the wall facing the bar. The service at the bar was always prompt and all staff members worked with a smile and friendly presence.

The bride and groom had the appetizers catered and placed in the room before the wine barrel warehouse area and it was nicely set up. The wine barrel room was beautifully

Nice lady working here but the wine wasn't great. I liked the dog though! Noticed some fruit flies lingering around as well, which was a bit of a turnoff. Maybe it's just me, but the lighting seemed a little bright too. I recommend they work on the ambiance and play some music maybe? Cool little parking lot for winery hopping, we liked the place next door a little better but there's definitely some potential here if they polish it up around the edges.

What an amazing winery! The wines are simply fantastic and well crafted. The service is top notch and I am always greeted when I come in with a smile and warm welcome. Coming here is like coming home, but with more wine. They have a good variety of wine and they have new releases frequently enough to keep me coming back. They have enough events too to keep me interested and entertained. Additionally, they have great facities for private parties of all sizes. I can't say enough about how much I love Strey and everything about the tasting room, the wine, and the people. Deviate Responsibly

Wine tastes are subjective, but for our palates the wines here were SO off/weird that they bordered on defective. We've had many red wines that have had "notes of tobacco". These wines tasted like they had a tablespoon of liquid smoke added to them. We couldn't get that taste out of our mouths until we had some more wine elsewhere. The only explanation for the off flavor we could think of was that the vineyard experienced a fire or perhaps the grapes were burned at the vineyard. Whatever it is, it just isn't right.

If you just turned 21 and haven't had any other

Visited this winery just this past weekend with my boyfriend and our friends and we all had a great time and enjoyed some even better wine. This was our second stop and literally a 30 second walk from neighboring winery Magnavino Cellars.

The tasting room is decent in size, and there was only two tables in which we were lucky to see one was open for our group of 5. The workers were super friendly and welcomed us as soon as we stepped inside. There was quite a bit of people for a Saturday afternoon, and all the workers were engaging with the customers at the counter.

We had our try with their

This is a great place to drink some great wine. The owners are in this business for the right reasons, and you can tell they are passionate about what goes into each bottle. I love their Merlot and their Cab and they do some great blends. The space is great and so is the staff. I've been for two different tastings and I've learned more about wine each time from casual conversations with the winemaker, Scott.

Most recently, we went for a birthday party and again, they did a great job. Can't say enough good things about this place and it's crew.

I came here, with a few coworkers for wine tasting in December. There were really cute decorations for the holidays, most notably the awesome xmas tree they made by stringing tons of ornaments from the ceiling! There were also cute wine cozies decorated with lots of holiday bling.

We were the only people in there on a Friday afternoon, so it was nice to sit around the table and enjoy our wine tastings for $10. We pretty much had the place to ourselves until the evening, when they were restricting the premises for a private event.

The best part of the entire experience was the lovely doggy

Scott, Katie, and their adorable dog are awesome and the wine is delicious.
My friends and I visited this place right after a pretty bad experience 2 doors down at Magnavino.
The minute we walked in the door, Katie was there with some wine glasses and a huge smile. We also got treated to a barrel tasting of their upcoming "Slanted". When it comes out, I'm buying a million bottles. It was my favorite wine of the entire day.
Scott and Katie treated us like friends from beginning to end and I wish them all the happiness and success in the world!
We will definitely be back!

We had a fantastic experience...especially since it was their first weekend opened.

We got word about this winery opening up from a good friend and decided to stop by. The shop is located right next to Magnavino wine shop so you can add it to your wine tour list when in the area.

The wines were great. They are young wines that will only get better with age. We actually enjoyed them so much that we signed up for a membership right then and there. I loved the Syrah and Zinfandel that they had to taste and pretty much all of their cabs were amzaing. Everytime we go back, we are excited to try
