Daisy has been practicing Dermatology since 2011 in New Jersey and Florida. She specializes in the evaluation and treatment of acne, cysts, dermatitis, eczema, hair loss (alopecia), pigmentation problems, psoriasis, rosacea, seborrhea, benign skin growths, skin cancer, skin allergies, and other rashes.
If you have a recent card that you received this calendar year, it will likely say BlueSelect on your card if this is the plan you take. If you are not sure, you may call BlueCross to make sure. Sometimes this information is not on the card. We will do our best to research this for you prior to your appointment, but we will need a copy of your card to do so.
Cosmetic procedures are rarely covered by insurance and most understand that they must pay for these "not medically necessary" procedures.
General Dermatology and "Medically Necessary" procedures, such as the treatment of cancerous lesions, are usually "covered", but you may be personally responsible for copays, co-insurance (a percentage that one pays for procedures performed), or for your annual deductible (which may not be based on the calendar year).

For your safety and convenience, we offer several online services that make it fast, easy and safe to communicate directly with the doctor, send photos to the doctor, review your bills, read handouts that were provided, see parts of your medical chart, schedule/change/cancel appointments, and have online visits (teledermatology).
Dr. Bader has served as an expert on many cases for both the defense and plaintiff. As with his practice of medicine, one can expect a thorough and credible review that will uncover all issues with a particular case. Got Botox and lip fillers from Dr. Bader. HORRIBLE experience. My lips were crooked, he bruised them severely, not only my actual lips, but around my mouth. He bruised my forehead too. My DENTIST noticed my Botox was CROOKED after getting it done from Dr. Bader, and fixed it herself. After one whole syringe of filler, my lips looked no different. (First picture attached). WASTE OF MONEY!!!! Save yourself!!!!

My first visit was a pleasant experience. The staff in general were considerate and helpful. The nurse and doctor were both extremely competent and caring at the same time. I was particularly pleased and slightly surprised by how expeditiously and straightforwardly they addressed my skin problems on this very first visit. I came away feeling confident that I was in good hands.

Yesterday I had the most awesome experience at this dermatology office! I was impressed how nice the office decor was as soon as I entered. I was a new patient & as soon as I came to the front desk, I was greeted by a super sweet, super friendly receptionist! ❤ It felt great as this is not a common thing in South FL. Then the doctor came up to the front desk & was nice enough to greet me & welcomed me to the office! Wow. The receptionist told me I was going to LOVE the nurse practitioner who I was going to see! I was called in by a nursing student interning who screened me first. So polite and

Loved this practice. Went for the first time, yesterday, and was impressed with how friendly, yet professional, everyone was. Did not have to wait to be seen, everything was clean and nurse practitioner, Daisy Fisher, was thorough and knowledgeable. Will definitely make this my dermatologist in South Florida!!

It has been my good Fortune to be a patient of Dr. Based for at least 15 years. Quite simply, he is an outstanding dermatologist, but additionally an excellent plastic surgeon. He is brilliant, kind, a perfectionist and truly cares. I can recommend his skill and expertise
