Annually, usually in the month of May, United Shipping hosts meetings of its worldwide partners. These worldwide events have forged long-standing partner relationships and have a played a critical role in our success. United Shipping's Board of Directors selects locations for the association's Worldwide Meetings that reflect and encourage the development of its global character.
In 1988, sixteen Customs Brokers joined forces and established United Shipping, Inc., a worldwide network of privately owned, Independent Customs Brokers and Freight Forwarders.
Today, United Shipping has over 145 partners, with 435 offices, worldwide and can handle cargo to or from any location in the world, and do so with confidence because our USI partners are not just a foreign agent whom we never see, but are people we meet with annually at our worldwide meetings.
