Alpha Omega Plastics - servicing Chicago and the Midwest for over 40 years. Alpha Omega Plastics provides full commercial and industrial plastic recycling services, including buying, selling, tolling and trading of scrap plastic materials. Alpha Omega Plastics focuses on economically beneficial solutions to meet our customers needs.

Our unparalleled service, competitive prices, and overall value are why Alpha Omega Plastics is an industry leader, processing over 35 Million pounds per year. We look forward to serving you! Plastic recycling is the process of recovering scrap or waste plastics and reprocessing the material into useful products, sometimes completely different in form from their original state.
Services
Besides processing scrap plastic, Alpha Omega Plastics purchases all types of scrap plastic in any form. We purchase LDPE, LLDPE, MDPE, HDPE, PP, P/S and other plastics in the form of bottles, sheet, pipe, skids, film, buckets, pales and other parts. We also purchase regrind, obsolete resin and color concentrate.
Alpha Omega Plastics provides prompt pick-ups and deliveries for local Illinois and Wisconsin companies. We also have the ability to drop storage trailers at your facility for ease of loading. For all non-local customers, Alpha Omega Plastics works with an array of carriers allowing us to service the entire US and Canada.
Alpha Omega Plastics operates four MGB Engineering (a sister company of Alpha Omega Plastics) densifiers from 250 to 300 horsepower. These machines produce 1200 to 1500 pounds per hour of densified material. Material is fed into the densifier from the top. A rotating knife that is coupled directly to a motor shreds the scrap against 10 stationary knives inside the machine.
If you have scrap plastic that you want pelletized, Alpha Omega Plastics can process it for you. We operate several plastics recycling lines, giving us the ability to process various types of plastic materials. Scrap film, regrind or densified material is fed into an extruder. As the extruder compresses and heats up the material, it's melted and then filtered.
Alpha Omega Plastics operates several grinders. Scrap plastic parts are fed into the grinder, which then reduces the size to a 3/8 inch or 1/2 inch particle size. At this point the regrind can be fed back into an extruder for part manufacturing or processed further into pellets. Note: Alpha Omega Plastics can take your unused plastic, grind it and return it back to you for reuse.

Really good group of guys who loaded the truck very quickly. They were on break when I arrived however the wait was short. No issues and a large dock to back into.
