Wildflower Psychiatry
I practice integrative psychiatry- carefully co-creating a plan with you from the best of modern medicine plus holistic approaches. I use psychotherapy and medications as well as comprehensive lab testing, nutrition, supplements, botanicals, and mind-body skills to help you feel calmer, clearer, brighter, freer, more connected to the people you care about, and more aligned with your values.

I really like Dr. Grewal's holistic approach to my health. She doesn't just throw meds at me and get my appointment done quickly. She really helps dig deeper and helps me analyze my difficulties and how to improve them. She lets the patient be in control of the visit and has me make goals and plans that I think are doable.
Services
I'm a board-certified psychiatrist and a Clinical Assistant Professor at the University of Arizona Department of Psychiatry. I grew up in northern California and went to college at UC Berkeley and medical school at Touro University California. I did my residency training in psychiatry at the University of Arizona, with specialized certification in integrative psychiatry through the Andrew Weil Center for Integrative Medicine.
Sessions are primarily through video, and I see people who live anywhere in Arizona or California. In-person appointments are available as needed in Tucson and Monterey. During this visit, I'll spend time learning about who you are, listening to your story, and asking questions.

I'll want to know about what you are struggling with, your health history, the important people in your life, your nutrition and physical activity, and what you are looking for now. We'll create a plan for you, which might include lab tests, written logs to track symptoms, and recommendations on lifestyle, nutrition, mind-body practices, psychotherapy, supplements, and medications.
Integrative psychiatry approaches mental health through the lenses of conventional psychiatry and holistic modalities, together.

All psychiatrists are medical doctors who have trained for at least 4 years after medical school to specialize in psychiatry, and we are all trained in how to diagnose and treat mental health conditions using medications and psychotherapy, as well as look for many of the common underlying medical conditions that can contribute to mental health problems.
