Darryl B. Leslie was born and raised in Alamogordo, New Mexico. He attended New Mexico State University for his undergraduate studies and then attended Colorado State University and received his doctorate in veterinary medicine in 1991. This added a third veterinarian to the family, as his father and his oldest brother, Earl, are also veterinarians.
At Leslie Animal Clinic, you can expect state of the art medical care for your four-legged companions. We believe in nurturing the human-animal bond and creating a harmonious relationship between people and animals. You can expect to be greeted by a courteous receptionist, clean exam rooms, friendly doctors, and caring technicians.
We require payment in full to be received at the time of service, and we are happy to offer itemized billing statements for all services. We are pleased to provide a financial treatment plan prior to surgical or other procedures and welcome any questions you may have about the cost for such services.
Leslie Animal Clinic offers an on-site, extensively equipped veterinary laboratory, performing bloodwork and testing with rapid results and a high degree of accuracy. Very often your pet's bloodwork may reveal results within the hour, for immediate diagnosis and prompt treatment. Many of our other lab tests may reveal results the same day.

Wonderful staff. Tried to do the best for our cat in terms of comfort. There is a waiting room that has a dispenser for pheromones that is supposed to calm your animal. Cool idea! DR. Earl was great though he was filling in for Dr. Leslie. Except for the typical unpleasantness for our cat, the clinic was great!

My dog likes going to this vet!!!! The staff are absolutely amazing and Dr. Leslie is great. He is realistic in what tests and treatment he recommends for your pet. And they don't judge if you aren't willing to pay for the most expensive treatment or test. They are extreme helpful with military PCS processes. Especially overseas assignments. Wouldn't go anywhere else!

I would have given this clinic 5 stars because I really liked Dr. Turner and his assistant. They helped my cat feel better.
However, customer service is a BIG deal for me. I gave them 2 stars for their lack of customer service skills. They need some serious training!
There were three women up at the front. Two of them just glared at me for several seconds. I was happy and upbeat. I spoke to the woman sitting behind the computer and I noticed that they were still staring at me. I just stared back. To quote my favorite character in one of my favorite 70's tv show, Willona, "I can get

I will never recommend this place ever. Yes my bad my dog got out and animal control picked her 12 year old almost blind fur baby. Note down animal control did note her age for the vet and she had not had a heat in two years. You heartless money grabbing people decided she would be fixed anyway and you must charge for medication due to the fact that the dog old and will be pain. I would not recommend you if you were the vet in town. You should be ashamed of yourself.
