Went in for a balayage. Annie was very friendly and talkative, however I was very disappointed with the end result. When I got home there was a lot of hair dye left behind my ears that was so difficult to remove, attempted to call Annie but she was already closed. I don't see how she would not have not noticed this. In addition, no one could notice I even got my hair done. For what I paid, would've expected better quality work.

I went in for my first haircut in 7 month--definitely anxious but with so many split ends, I was at my ends. The salon was clean and well organized to make sure that everyone was safe. Jaime, who cut my hair, was amazing--super sweet and calming. Also, how weird to get a haircut while someone can't even see your face. But he did an amazing job on my wavy, curly hair.

Oh my gosh ... where do I begin? How much can one human person adore their hair stylist? I've been coming to Annie for highlights and a haircut for a few years now, and she not only makes my hair super gorgeous, but she's just an all-round fantastic person. I wish I wish I'd come to her sooner - I look back at photos of my hair before I started coming to Annie, and I just have to shake my head at how stupid my hair looked. Now - it looks fresh, modern, pretty, it suits my complexion and style and everything. Honestly - my hair now looks like a million bucks. I'm so grateful

This review is for Kristen. She is an amazing colorist. I came to
her a few years ago with a chemical cut. My last colorist over treated
my hair with bleach and burned out my hair. Kristen fixed my hair and worked on getting it healthy again.
What I've seen her do to other clients hair is fantastic! She's so creative with cuts and color! I'm so grateful I found her!

Studio Salon is such a cute hair studio with friendly hairstylist and such a welcoming atmosphere. Annie was so welcoming offered me anything to drink when I arrived. My hair stylist Jaime was amazing. He knew what I wanted when I told him I wanted a teal color and a short cut. Definitely recommend talking with jaime about any hair needs.

I've been seeing Annie for a couple of years now! It's super fun to catch up with her every visit.
I have super thick Asian hair, and a pretty serious undercut. Can finally say that I love my hair! Just need to grow it out another inch or two :)

Kristen is awesome & I love the new shop! Her cuts & colors are beautiful and detailed. I love that she goes over the previous service & consults with me on what I want each time--super professional. If I feel like talking we catch up like crazy & if I'm not feeling social she gives me a tea & magazine & lets me chill. Definitely recommend prebooking your next appointment before leaving--otherwise you'll get shaggy & faded waiting to get another.

I've been going to Annie for years and she's nudged me toward a very nice, maintainable style I quite like. She has a good memory for what will work (simple!) and what won't work (product!) for me and adapts accordingly. From others, I can see she does pretty complex work too.
My son graduated from the place that gives kids the same haircut as long as they hold still to Annie years ago. Together they've adapted his hair from what I liked (long) to what he likes (short) while giving him some uniqueness in the process.

Finally went to Annie after years of admiring her work on my friend hair. Wow, why did I wait for long. Annie is amazing, so knowledgeable, so professional and helpful in working with your preference even when you are not sure what you want! I totally trusted her and it paid off, she worked her magic with my hair and now despite being grey and 57 years old, I walked out feeling (and looking) twenty years younger! Thank you Annie! I've been going to Annie for YEARS for curly haircuts, amazing blowouts and the occasional toning services. She was the only person I trust to cut my super curly hair that wouldnt cut too much off, but still leave it looking shiny and healthy when she blows this thickness out. The toning was awesome because I thought it would be a good idea to do my own hair for the past couple years to save money. She always got it looking the right color instead of brassy.

Annie has been cutting my hair for years and is amazing. Her new location is even more welcoming and convenient. If you are a woman with curly or wavy hair she is a literal godsend -- no finicky "Deva Cut" method that takes five hours and costs a million bucks, just a person who has curly hair herself, understands how to make it look good and has a great sense of style. I never got compliments on my hair before I started going to her, now I get compliments all the time. I see her cut straight hair and men's hair too and it always looks great. If we ever move away from SF I will miss

The attached picture shows the contrast with my dead blonde- and she gave me my natural hair color back with Demi- permanent less harsh option.
She cut- colored and styled my hair to best compliment what I envisioned and en route to a healthy look
I am over the moon with my results!

When I first moved to San Francisco I had trouble finding a solid stylist. Annie and I met at Le Bourget (no longer in existent) After my first cut with her there was no going back! She's amazing- patient, competent, positive and professional.

I got my hair done for my wedding with Annie. I only booked her about 3 weeks out, and she was as flexible as possible with me even with other appointments and needing to cancel my original trial time with her 2 days before! She was very responsive any time I reached out.
The best part of this experience was Annie. She was so energetic and welcoming and made you feel so comfortable. I asked for a simple back, low, romantic look, had a few pictures to reference on my phone. Annie did a beautiful job giving me that and more by continuously checking in with me through each stage of the hair-do.

I've been a client of Annie's since 2010! She has always done an amazing job on my hair and has always made sure I left the salon happy and exactly what I wanted! I don't just trust anyone with my hair. So many stylists in the past could never get it perfect for me. I'm VERY particular with my hair from color, highlights, cut and even a blow out! Annie has always done an amazing job with my hair. I honestly wouldn't have been a loyal customer to Annie all these years if I didn't think her work was perfection and didn't trust her!
